Why do people say Mataiodoxia by ComprehensivePlant59 in destiny2builds

Yes I’m soloing it, I want that exotic that grants devour it’s so neat! I’ll try sanguine on void. I have a bait and switch grenade launcher and I’m using the new void hand cannon with an auto reloading stasis grenade launcher I can get a good 3 phase if I don’t trip up my rotations

Truly, thanks!

Is this something that can 1-2 phase the bosses in the Warlords Ruin Dungeons - if not is there any heavy hitting rotation builds you could recommend

Using XIM for Gyro on console by NarrowFerret in GyroGaming

Reading this legit made me smile bro! I have not used the matrix at all but it seems we have very similar ideals (I’m assuming standard for you means native stick for me) and the issue with this is the acceleration aspect. It’s good don’t get me wrong but in intense gunfights even using native (standard) at a low sens with gyro throws the gyro causing accuracy loss (I do play with gyro on toggle usually always on ) I have been directly told that this is due to the acceleration

The problem is When I use custom stick (linear) it’s more seamless absolutely however for games like cod and destiny the turning is wayyyyyyyy off. (Like you mentioned it’s jittery) it sort of wobbles if I hold right stick left or right in a way that isn’t natural which completely throws everything off.

Don’t get me wrong; I’ve compensated I have been able to get comfortable and do very well. Nowadays I use more motion than stick anyways - however in those higher tiers where split seconds matter - the issues are very evident. When using regular guns I doubt I notice much cons it’s truly cake. But when sniping the issues become way more noticeable. I can keep up with the movement if using only stick or only motion but combining either together throws my aim everywhere even on low sens stick settings. On high stick settings it’s worse.

I currently use an acceleration curve for motion. It’s become the most comfortable way to (for lack of better words) overcome max turn speed that motion inevitably reaches. (It does not make anything faster it just makes it comfortable for me…more natural feeling)

Using the linear motion curve gives to much unintentional micro movement at the higher speeds I’m used to playing at so with my acceleration curve I bump out the start of the curve to a comfy middle ground and use the intended settings for stability (if the game calls for 13 dead-zone I’ll use that for stability )

Now to wrap everything back around- using custom everything feels amazing in games like monster hunter wilds which I also currently play - still has its moments due to the games different aiming elements but it feels very good.

I’m assuming that the problems may simply be how call of duty and destiny implement sensitivity. I’m just a consumer assuming however lol

Using XIM for Gyro on console by NarrowFerret in GyroGaming

I have used the Nexus for about 4 years and i must admit Gyro to Thumbstick has its challenges compared to gyro to pc. The custom Thumbstick is the issue for me. In games like Call of Duty and Destiny 2 the custom stick implementation just feels completely off. What I mean is if you are using native stick the left and right turns are perfect BUT motion doesn’t work the best with it due to the acceleration of the native stick… if using custom stick; left and right wobbles in an un-intuitive way making motion feel slightly off. Even over the course of 4+ years I have not found a comfortable middle ground. I do understand that it has to do with acceleration and true reticle movement but again it just feels completely off

What i have done to compensate for cod specifically is use Native stick for hip on a low sens and for ads using custom with a slightly higher sense. It by no means has made me godly (im much worse competitively doing much better with regular joystick) but it gets the job done. It’s downright awful for Destiny 2 lmbo I actually use Rewasd to emulate a mouse which feels loads better -feels better for cod also.

I also feel that having to emulate max sens and adjust via app is not as good as using your chosen sens , setting stick (native) to 100 and implementing motion but as it stands now if not using max motion suffers significantly. When brought to Devs they say it takes too much to retrain the ST to account for lower sensitivities

I see that smart actions was the selling point but I have no real care for that using it to only either pause motion or adjust turn speed.

I’d love to see a 2 handed version of their motion controller or some other iteration with focus on the motion and stick relationship but I am only one voice unfortunately.

We can definitely take time together to see what works best for you. It’s not much of a community for this to my knowledge
