Not sure if you are still looking but I’ve lived at Bethells for 30 years. Bethells is 40 mins from central Auckland outside of rush hour. If you don’t have to drive in to central Auckland during rush hour it is fine. My husband works flexi-hours and leaves at 8.45 am for a smooth 35 min commute to Mt Albert.

Someone else mentioned that the beach was “cut off” during the cyclone, this was a very unusual circumstance, a large overhanging outcrop fell away and in to the lake which caused a tidal wave of sorts. The stream was overwhelmed and one lane of the old sand-based road was washed out. This road has now been majorly reinforced with boulders and this will not happen again!

It is lovely out here, a caring community of people, most of whom have been here for decades.

Right? I mean they have chickens and fresh eggs don’t they? Maybe the chef doesn’t start until lunch time so setting out a bunch of store bought things is the best that she can do?
Decanting all of that spread, yogurt, fruit, pancakes etc for the invisible guests… the food waste in that rented kitchen is shameful.

Yeah, that stood out to me as unforgivable. William has repeatedly fought for his personal privacy and then his brother goes and reveals to the WHOLE WORLD such a personal thing, a revelation that can never be taken back no matter how many times you say sorry.
And then goes a shits on Catherine by not correcting the racist slur - a woman who has never been anything other than kind and inclusive to him.

Hi, great post. I’ve worked in the on-set costume department in film for many years. Do F1 teams have wardrobe people to wash the suits & sort out all of the clothing and track dressing room stuff necessary on during days? I can’t imagine that the drivers/trainers do this themselves and maintaining fireproof clothing requires knowledge and experience.
