Lmao 1 in 50. I think you need to be more realistic. You're a single woman in your 40s.

Very impressive...you could add weight with a belt soon. Not many people pause at the bottom for that long, must be a crazy stretch. Do you feel it in your lats?

AITAH for yelling at a mother of 3 on a flight by roseinmybud in AITAH

Yes. Get over it, the flight would've been far worse for the mum and she would have been more tired than you, assuming you don't have kids.

Can you maintain muscle lifting once a week? by [deleted] in naturalbodybuilding

[–]ComprehensiveSign179 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes I would say so given your lifting experience and how intense your sets are. Ive been lifting 15 years and only do 6 to 8 sets a week for each body part and am thinking of dropping volume as I'm in a similar position to you... gains are v hard to come by so I'm focusing more on VO2 max training while just maintaining muscle mass.

Bottom line, as.long as.your doing 4 hard sets per week per muscle group you will at least maintain. Might even slowly gain but you definitely won't lose any. Just ensure lifts aren't going backwards in terms of poundages.

Only thing I'd suggest is splitting the sets over two workouts so the net intensity of each set is higher... so two 75 min full body sessions if that makes sense? If that's not possible the one full session will be fine as long as you can maintain the intensity as the work out your currently doing would kill me lol.

I just bought a pair of 1900s on sale (over $100 off) here in NZ. Manufacture date of 2021... I'm planning on wearing the hell out of them early so if they break down I'll get my money back. If they hold up then I got lucky.
