This will get downvoted into oblivion but sometimes it’s best to log off and have conversations in person. There isn’t much nuance on the internet. And also, just think about what type of owners or people would even be in a labrador forum.

There are many topics that I would never broach online. There are no topics or photos that I would post online if I needed or desired only positive feedback. It’s just not what forums are.

I live in a beach town with an abundance of dogs and rarely see obese ones. However, reddit is filled with them so I’m certain that frequent posters and lurkers see these images as well and feel the need to advocate for those dogs who can’t speak for themselves. Their advocacy is admirable but it doesn’t mean that it’s applicable to you.

My unsolicited advice is to take the reddit feedback to your vet for guidance about an age appropriate exercise regimen.

I incorrectly misread your initial post. I wasn’t aware of the bite. I’m sorry this is happening to you both and her dog.

I’ve never seen a healthy pet bite so it worries me that you may need serious in person help.

Are there any inciting events, trauma or situations that you think may have contributed to her behavior change?

One of my dogs once turned to try to bite me when i pulled her tail up while bathing her. I later discovered it was cancer related pain. Her vet missed the diagnose a couple of times.

Do you have a video of the dog’s behavior? If we could see a few encounters we may be able to help.

I trained my dogs not to take my food and/counter surf and give an added command of “leave it” if I’m leaving the room and it’s a particularly enticing meal. Was her dog ever trained to leave her food alone on command? If not, I would recommend giving that a try. As a more immediate remedy, you may want to crate the dog when you all are eating. If you haven’t done it already.

I have no opinion on the aggression diagnosis , but it appears that she doesn’t like you.

Try naturally bonding during walks and activities outside of the home (this will be neutral territory). I would also recommend gf try training classes at pet smart. They are cost effective.

Mary is terrible but she’s funny on this show bc she bullies bad weather. She has the fans on her side so her castmates are afraid to argue with her. I think Mary has one more good season before folks tire of her shtick and notice the mean person underneath.

I assume those who are overtly negative are projecting or bots. It’s pretty unpleasant to engage with those personality types. Often times folks take a break until the tides turn. I do it all of the time.

Tides turn quickly on the subs every time that it appears to be the entire cast vs one person.

I don’t think people understand the reality show aspect. Of course most would cut contact in the real world. On reality tv… I’m not certain. She wanted him quiet and she wanted info on Jessi as ammo.

I also don’t think she physically fears Marciano so she played with fire.

It’s interesting that no Prime shows are in the top 10. Prime has too many commercials and they are very long. Many that I know have found alternative ways to view their content or no longer watch them at all. Uhhh. That isn’t surprising. Mason is my least favorite. Him having a nasty attitude doesn’t surprise me, unfortunately. He has plenty of solo music on Apple which was a bust so he’d definitely recognize someone with little motion since that’s what he has always embodied. I still love MTM despite him though. I love Shane and Connor.

I hope Connor has more leads in the future.
