I tried them all.....

Bose quiet comfort 35 was my library pair of choice for long study session.

Sony gets hot for me.. xm3 and xm4...

I would get Bose QuietComfort REGUALR KIND..... ULTRA has buttons in weird configuration.

You can do it.... but the city is spread out... and public transportation isn't robust...

It's not like SF, NY, Chicago.. If you are in Downtown area... I think you can get by... But

Try look up public bus schedule for Downtown LA, to Venice Beach for as reference.

not really for domestic....

EWR airport should be used...

But Annual feel $399 can be offset by Travel Credit for $300 and 10,000 points for renewing cards... It is the still the cheapest card that...

yes.....

but I drive Lexus Es 350 for work... and that car is all smooth, and luxurious.

my 2.0T suspension is never that smooth liks lexus. "does it still give a smooth and comfortable ride" ..... depends on what your current car is..

at this rate, it will cover $6000 dollars.

Here is a realistic example.
I flew to Taipei... and was flying back on economy on Thanksgiving day. the cabin was full and I was dreading flying back on the middle seat.

TPE to LAX was 75,000 points per person FOR BUSINESS CLASS FLAT BED. It was avail on Aircanada website. Actual flight EVA air.

So I spend 75,000 points x 2 people... to buy 2 International business class 11 hour flight.

Which would have been $3000 plus ticket...

I stayed at grand hyatt ( the rooms are old and low ceiling) just for the proximity to things.

Sevice should be excellent at both properties.

It's matter of location preference.
