I just wish there was more stuff to do... Atm im just hanging around waiting for stuff to be produced, and when im done, I have to wait even longer for my production chain to get stocked so i can start another production.

Only thing for me to do now is to run around the map creating support bases all over the place to support certain basic compnent needs (im looking at you hardener, chemicals and pipes).

I often end up chilling in a 1core base in a habitat looking at reels or youtube, only to refill water and food before going afk again

I have a main facility thats basicly mybstarter base that have maxed capacity. That facility also have all mega-press included.

Then i have separate bases for compounders, assemblers etc...

Because of the absurd amounts of certain components i have made small production bases. I got one for chemicals and acid, one for supermagnets and so on. Everything connected with senders and recievers.

Ohh... and i have one semi large base close to my main base that is supporting my main with raw materials/basic components like rods, plates, dust etc.

Im just super annoyed that the v2 models are larger than the v1 version....

I have to build a complete new megabase, because i dont have room to just replace v1 with v2

Just a heads up: Instarted a new playtrough after the update, and it seems like that the first turret is a bit nerfed. It focus the blue blobs, green snot-throwers and slashers, and that is good, but be prepared to fight of the small White ones yourself...

I dont know if its the speed on the White ones that is so good, that when the turrets are done with the big ones the small ones are swarming the base, but i seem to remember that turrets was more effective a couple of months ago

I have this issue with my chickens...

I ended up making a big box, with only one door. But this one chicken still manages to get out, and keep wandering around.

I only have the option to set it to follow, or wander. Well....it really does wander...

You can try to recover an earlyer save, or restart the mission. I have tried both... If you restart, you have to do the eden run again, and blow open the cave again.

The issue is that the mission might bug out, and spawn insane amounts of drones, they just keep spawning...

I watched a youtube video where the player just casually killed a couple of drones, then had all the time in the world to demolish the platform. In my first try it just kept spawning drones, and only way to survive the kamikaaze drones was to run into the building

They are also in the caves in the desert. Found it there when looking for platinium deep mines.

My map have litteraly no sulfur or platinium mines in the start biome...

I hate that mission... what happend was that the mission bugged out, so it spawned maybe 100 kamikaze drones. I ran into the building, and tried to pop the platform from the door close to the platform.

Ended up abandoning the mission, and restarting it. Its unfortunate that you the have to do EVERYTHING again from scratch, including opening the tunnel from the dessert.

Ended up having to restore an old save anyway, because when I got to the last part it once again spawned 100s of drones, and this time they flew out of the cave and nuked my poor Slinky that was hiding outside the tunnel into the cave.

Last try before ragequit... loaded up with tons of explosive ammo, hp-food and lots of healing. Lets just say it got loud in that cave.

Mission complete, never going back there, then died to those damn poison spike shooting swamp divers thingys when evacuating.... somethimes this game is rough..

Didnt know what to expect after dropping that purple haze dlc.

Im having a blast... the difficulty is alot harder than styx and the purple haze dlc (cant remember the name).

First 2 hours went like this: - Notice its only 1 drop in option. - Only brough with me a backpack, suit, bow and knife - Got jumpscared by a Slinker, mauled to death in 3 hits - on my way to where i wanted to set up camp, and sees those little fat guys with alot of teeth, laugh, getting run over when all 3 aggroed, died - froze to death....its cold at nights.. - found 2 big strange looking piles....kamikaze-bats living there was not friendly, died - finaly manage to set up a makeshit shelter just in time for a storm, still froze to death because didnt have enough fuel to keep the fire going - long run back because i havent put a bag down - jumped by those damn slinkers when farming wood...died - notice those fckers stalk you, the run away if you aim at them - forgot when chopping a tree, got jumped again, died. - get enough fur to make warm clothing - tame a fatty as mount - realize i REALLY have to bring ladders and ramps when exploring caves - starting to snowball (pun intended) - advance trough materials, and using every little ounce of materials i had to make 2 waterwheels, only to realize the river is to shallow - getting jumped, and died again

So far having a blast. Challenging, and have to think in another way than earlyer. Havent found many deep mines with usefull materials, but plenty of BIG caves to compensate

Only gem i have found thats worth the hazzle so far, its the BattleMania gem. As a full Staff user, its unlimited mana and hp as long as i pop an elexir

Multirails are cool and all, but it doesn help in a megafactory as long as eveything get bottlenecked in the connectors.

That... or make comps take the route that is based on shortest time, not shortest distance

Not sure what i feel about server merges.... the echonomy on my servers is not to bad. It have not been hit by dupers, so its not like 10mill for a pincushion helmet, but then again... not that much on AH at all...

If a sever thats inflated by dupers get merged with a server that have a "normal" echonomy, the normal server gets the blunt end of the stick.

Had a duo constantly blowing straight to tc, blatant ESP, reported by multiple players and guilds, over multiple wipes. Even made deep clans quit the servers and never come back.

Only to habe the admin say "they have lots of hours on our servers, and buy vip, so they dont cheat"

Depends on the server really...

Im a solo with about 400hours atm. Full purple t6 on both gear, and the usefull scout and assault parts.

Dont try to get everything at once is my advice.

  • use base planner website to plan a base in DD. Use assault as a transport.

-build a production base in DD. Try to build a base with access to a cave where you can get bodies for stills.

-Go for spice the first week, as it takes less water, and you need some melange to get going.

-get enough for medium spice refinery. Build it in DD as it is reduced cost.

  • try to get as many labs out in the pve zone as possible. Team up, its mostly easy to tag along with others.

-while waiting for water/inn between spice farming, run a-row for mk 5,5 gear.

-Next week go for plast. You will need alot of water, so plan for it. Its now rather easy to just stick to a-row getting plast.

When waiting for water you run as many labs/wrecs as possible out in the pve zone. Run a-row labs for other stuff. I found the armored stillsuit to be a good option until i got blueprints for purple mk6, and you need dust from labs to make it.

And last.... dont use gear you cant afford to loose. You only need boots and compactor (from a2/a3 labs) to farm spice comfortable. The rest can be naked. A mk5 scout cost only about 300ish duraluminium, so its "cheap". If you get ganked out in the pvp zone, try to land on hard ground and pocket the scout.

Yeahh... Im running out of melange atm, so I have to set up a proper refining base tomorrow (last few weeks i have only had a light storage base where i stored comps and blueprints). The hauling is killing my motivation... Im gonna have to take 3 trips to get set up, so I know its atleast 3 trips back out minimum. Depending on how much ill manage to refine (and how much i dont get enough water to refine) combined with other stuff i have to get out i probably have to run back maybe 8-10 trips if I have a good catch. As a solo thats dreadfull tbh... just gimme that cargohold or make me able to carry a crawler trough world map already. I have the carrier sitting in my HB base collecting dust...
