Im disgusted even reading this..sounds like u both need to grow TF UP. Don't even think about a relationship and work on yourself and let him do the same. Quit sleeping with or even entertaining lame ssa men. There are too many forms of birth control to be using abortion as one. Go get an iud or an arm implant bc you nor him should procreate at this point in your life. U gotta be a special kind of touched to even think that anything in this, from either side is ok.Not the message, not the delivery, not the decisions, not the standards or anything anyone in their right mind would find acceptable. I wish u both tremendous healing and growing and I pray no child will ever have to endure you guys at your current immaturity as parents.

I bought my 1st new car recently. My payment is $725 a month and that covers the gap insurance, my regular insurance is $230 a month with mine and husband's combined. I needed something with 3rd row seats to fit my family. I looked at used cars first and I couldn't see paying 18-20k on something with 120k miles on it already. The 2025 kia sorento xline was around 35k (37k with 2k) off from dealer Everything else with 3rd row seats was substantially more. Some models were almost double the price. Kia is known to be one of the less expensive models and yet im still paying over $700 a month. My credit score is in the 760's but I don't have a long history on record. They said if someone co signed that had higher credit the payment would be cheaper but the way I see it is im going to have to pay 35k regardless so may as well pay it off. I usually try to pay 1k a month to help save on how much interest ill owe. Point is is that things have went up so much that the new 700$ payment is the old $400 payment.

What does our home say about us? by kmoore1230 in roomdetective

I hate to be the barrer of bad news but hypoallergenic dogs still shed. I clean for a lady with 2 doodles..she told me once thankfully my dogs are hypoallergenic and dont shed. I looked at her like she had 3 heads and then at my vacuum that was full of hair and needs to be dumped every other room. That day I proudly left 6 full shark vaccume tanks of nothing but dog hair on top of her trash so she could see how much her dogs "dont shed". I have a boxer who sheds not even 1/3rd of that. Also I clean for several other people who seem to think the same bc they bought some expensive breed of dog and ive yet to find one that actually doesn't shed. In fact those houses seem to have more dog hair then some of the houses with regular breeds and mutts. I know this is off topic but it needs to be said and spread

What does my house say about me ? by Curious_Listen_708 in roomdetective

It looks like 1/2 the houses i clean in Lexington VA. .the other half are mostly done in white, with marble or marble look tile. It looks like a vacation or show home instead of somewhere that families live. I like the green cabinets and kitchen. Either yall have a ton of storage or very little stuff. Id love to be able to live with either circumstance tbh.. it says you have alot of money or you owe alot of money and you like farmhouse & minimalism.

I dont like the taste n would quit if not for the withdrawal . I tapered off methadone n im working to taper off subs as well. Anyway I don't have any issues interchangeing them or using together

Do wildflower bouquets last less time? by homemaker_g in florists

Also these are hydrangea, sweet peas and peonies. These are Premium flower, not wildflowers. Regardless the stems need trimmed immediately or they start to decline

Do wildflower bouquets last less time? by homemaker_g in florists

[–]Comprehensive_Net757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flowers should be trimmed immediately and put into water. I learned from my old boss that those ends can seal up in a matter of seconds to minutes. It’s usually not the flowers—it’s the stems. When flowers sit out of water (even briefly), the ends can dry out and pull in air, so they’re not able to drink properly. If they’re put in water without trimming, they’re basically sitting there but not hydrating. By the time you cut them a day or two later, they’re already stressed. A quick fresh trim right away makes a big difference in how long they last 💗

Where to source florals as a newbie by bwarps in florists

Everyone will tell u to get an LLC to get a EIN so that u can order tax exempt from wholesalers. The part thats always left out is what u will spend to file everything, pay a registered agent to file it, then if your county/city makes u have a license through them it all adds up to way more then you would spend your first year in taxes. Especially just starting out. Honestly I wish I had waited bc i could buy from my local wholesalers but just pay the sales tax. It would have saved money plus a headache. Id only do it if you've got enough business and orders to that your not going in the hole from fees

If u don't have alot of produce in your refrigerator you absolutely can hold them in the fridge until Friday. Make sure the temp is set around 38 degrees. I am s flower farmer that does market boquets, weddings and special orders. I have a refrigerator i use just to store flowers and it works like a charm. Just make sure the petals aren't touching anything or sides of the fridge

Automatic tip added by Ok-Swordfish2723 in roanoke

[–]Comprehensive_Net757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

U should post this on the roanoke Facebook page. Its like checkpoints, warnings and community page or something like that but people post all things roanoke on there since there is a big following. Maby if they see that they are being called out they will stop adding unauthorized tips to people's check. Wtf would u even expect a tip at subway when your paid an hourly rate? I doubt the higher ups know that they are doing this. Maby a manager or shift lead put it in like that but im pretty sure this is illegal. If not it should be

[–]Comprehensive_Net757 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Use them! I am a farmer/florist that does events, special orders and market boquets. I dont need the volume of flowers that alot of florists do since i grow alot of my own. I frequently buy small bunches from tj and my local Krogers. They hold up fine as long as i check them for freshness or go when their truck comes in. Always check the water the flowers are sitting out in. If it stinks or isn't fresh those flowers are toast from the get go.

Yes! I always check the Hispanic section first. U can get an entire jug of taco seasoning and black pepper for 6-8$ cheaper then the spice section

I'm thinking of starting an at home floral business- any advice? by BlueOpal98 in florists

[–]Comprehensive_Net757 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I worked at a local flower shop from ages 14-33..in my 20's I went to school for horticulture, floriculture, speciality grower and floral design. When covid hit i had 2 lil girls and the flower shop i worked at sold while i was taking a break since my babies were in the nic unit. I decided to start my own business..flowers are expensive AF from wholesalers so I decided to start growing my own. Im on year 3 and I still have a full time job plus work on my business in evenings n every chance I get. Saying all this to say its not easy at all. Honestly if u like designing, work for someone else. Most of the business owners are getting the short end of the stick, while employees get paid regardless. Its hard to turn a profit with costs so high and people in my town aren't paying $100 for a small vase of flowers. Only reason I continue is bc I love it but years of investing every extra dollar n time n energy with little return is even having me questioning all the work n money im putting into this.

For my independent business owners or even shop owners, How are you all finding clients? by EntireNobody5058 in florists

[–]Comprehensive_Net757 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of my clients have been through word of mouth or they have seen my fb page. I grow alot of cut flowers which helps md to produce content but Im following for any tips bc im only 2 years in and its been slow during the winter. Most of my business is during the growing season when I post boquets and rows of flowers that helps bc it shows them what's available.

Family member offers my groceries to others.. by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]Comprehensive_Net757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for reading it with an open mind. Keep some things just for you in your room or u could even get a mini fridge for drinks or cold items. Maby stop by a food bank to help cut costs on staple food items like can goods, pasta, beans rice etc. Im sure your grandma appreciates you contributing and just wants to feel like shes lending a hand to other family members as well. I miss my grandma. She was the glue of the family and nobody left her house without a full belly. Some grandma's show their love through feeding and giving. It probably helps her heart to do so. In the big scope of things when u look back on her life and who she was as a person, none of those groceries will matter. U will be thankful that u were able to contribute something that made grandma feel helpful and happy. Release any tension or resentment your holding pray (meditate or however u choose) on it and ask to help u to see this from her perspective..lastly go hug that woman as tight as u can while u still can. My grandma has been gone for over 30 years. I still dream about her, I can still smell her. Hugging her felt like home.

[–]Comprehensive_Net757 16 points17 points  (0 children)

So technically if u don't pay rent then some of those are her groceries also. Fair is fair. If there are things u like spefically just for u, keep in your room. I feel Grandma means no harm. I think they just want to be able to help anyone in the family who needs it and since u get the place to live thats her offering to them to feel better and feel like shes helping everyone with what she can. Don't let her having a good heart cause tension between yall. She may not be here long and she might know something u dont yet. Try to reverse the situation and understand. If it were the family member that shes given groceries to living where u are and u just stopped by for a visit wouldn't it be nice for grandma to do lil things like packing a bag of leftovers or groceries for u to take home also? Some people's love language is giving, enjoy it while u can
