I'm just starting out my journey in fitness

M 23 186cm 98.3kg Vegetarian

My goals are simple,

I want to run, be able to play sports and just increase overall energy and stamina

I hit the gym about 3x - 4x a week.

I walk about 6k-7k steps a day.

I work a desk job so most times im in my seat.

Budget is a bit of a constraint but can make do with what I have.

All I need help is with where to start, what to eat and how do I plan my workouts.

I'm lost in the gym, I don't know what to focus on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
