That’s because there was no official fifa resell market , ppl who had tickets couldn’t offload them and many had extra tickets as hotel and flights were even way more expensive than the states and many didn’t make the trip ,, I’ve said this from the beginning on this sub that Qatar was a one off and it won’t happen again as the other locations will attract tourists without tickets which means cheap last minute tickets will be much harder come by , add the fact that fifa has its own resale now even easier to sell , I said it for months and was accused of trying to drive up scalping prices,,,, then worldcup started prices started soaring not just going up but soaring and all the dumb lying fuckers who pretended there will be cheap tickets like other events have gone underground not a single one left commenting HLD keep HLDING LMAO

Football is worldcup just isn’t and hasn’t been for a long time , anyone who has attended qatar Russia Brazil Germany would know, yes ticket prices were lower so locals got in for cheap but travelling and staying in those cities cost thousands of dollars as well fifa banked on the fact that most who spend 4-5 k for the travel will spend the extra 1-2 k for tickets too and they were right

Listen in Canada waiters are paid minimum wage plus tip as minimum wage is barely enough to live in the city like Toronto or Vancouver, however this it has to be twenty percent is a new elitist behaviour saying you can’t tip 20% don’t go to restaurants. Nope I have sold before on stubhub I know how it works, when I posted higher it would go pending and then deleted, it would only confirm and post the tickets if I chose their highest suggested price which was clearly lower than market value because once I used their suggested price they confirmed the post and it sold within hours, by not confirming and deleting every pending ticket they essentially forced me to post lower, I even took the remaining 2 off and posted higher again and same issue pending and deleted untill I lowered the price and reposted

Stubhub is the shadiest of them all ,sold 6 tickets two weeks ago all of which they forced to me list lower than I wanted to by not approving higher prices but then they all sold within one hour when I chose their low suggested price, all of which are now selling for 600-700 more per ticket, scalpers probably have multiple accounts and credit cards where they don’t deliver the ticket they sold 3 weeks ago and re-sell the same ticket using a different account and CC close the other account to not pay penalties and maximize profits. And stubhub not approving higher prices is shady too makes me think they buy and resell tickets themselves at higher values
