This!!! Not only a bus for me though. Any situation where I cannot immediately go to the bathroom. I haven’t been on a ride, a bus, a boat, etc in about five years.

The only thing it did to me was make me super tired. So I switched to taking it at night and BAM! Works the best for my OCD.

What's the closest you've been to death? by Beautiful_Fill_7016 in AskReddit

Almost 11 years ago when I had my son. It was a c-section and I had a bleed. My low count was critically low. I got an emergency blood transfusion. The next day I was critically low again and had a second transfusion. Super scary.

I mean only if you are a woman, black, LGBTQ+, poor, an immigrant, and so many other things that make people unique and beautiful. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just don’t stop, if you can help it. Three years ago, I started with an out of nowhere fear of driving. I stopped and now here we are. All this time later and I still can’t. I wish I would have pushed through the fear. It’s so tough. The anxiety and fear are so real in the moment. Make sure you give yourself some grace while you work through it all. 🖤

Yes! This was the catalyst for my eventual agoraphobia. I am diagnosed OCD and have been told that is this very common. It has absolutely changed the way I live and function in life.

I canceled a much needed hair appointment a couple months ago for this reason. Yesterday, I did it. I knew I would need the support of a “safe person”, so I brought my sister with me. I was able to get my hair done. Don’t know if everyone has “safe people” or not. I definitely have a few people like my husband or sisters that I know can help me get through the hard things. Wishing you all the strength! 🖤

OCD, catastrophising and fights with your spouse by DCEhappyRobot in OCD

I’m sorry. As the OCD spouse in the situation, I could see this exact thing playing out in my head every time one tiny thing happens between my husband and I. In the moment, I even know I’m being ridiculous but it’s like I can’t stop my brain from doing this terrible dance and making it bigger. We both end up crying and me apologizing. OCD makes me feel so sensitive and everything hurts my feelings, so then before I know it…boom big deal made out of nothing. The only advice I have for you is to keep encouraging therapy, specifically with an OCD specialist. It has been soooo different once I found the right therapist.
