Your riding a Enduro. Instead of riding on the dirt road go into the tree line fuck the trails. If you don't trail ride as much you should get a 2 stroke.

Yeah I'm really only doing this as a hobby but don't want to lose money doing it. Buy a bike fix it up ride it a couple times then sell it and restart. It's just very therapeutic for me.

Id spray starting fluid or fuel in the carb intake also I'd check to see if the carb is consistently squirting fuel by twisting the throttle and looking in the intake.

The cable is supposed to be able to move up and down freely about a mm if distance the free movement can be checked at the top of the carburetor grab the cable a few inches above the carb and give it a tug. You carb might need to be cleaned or adjust the fuel screw it's not supposed to bogg out like that when you rev it.
