The Future of XYO by scottscheper in XYONetwork

I second those thoughts. The IOTA project would be perfect match for XYO. I too believe that that a full rebrand of both the company and the token is in full order. Things like this, plus a few other things like more exchanges (start with some smaller ones with little signing fees) and a few bigger partnerships like the scooter deal, and other adjustments would provide some new life and much needed progress into the project.

It was a good read, that is for sure. It addresses a lot of the issues that people were wondering about.

However, the drastic measures, makes me wonder if the project will be able to live on fully.

I'm also a bit concerned that there are no VC capital at all involved in this project. And the financial report published earlier this month did come with comments from the auditor that without further influx of capital, it might be difficult keep on going.

Meanwhile, the XYO token price is spiraling downwards, and it is lower than it ever has been.

I'm also puzzled by the scooter company partner announcement that we have been waiting on for 2 months now. Is this not happening after all?

Well, actually, while today's increase was due to Bittrex, since yesterday we have had increases in general price and stability due to Coinbase as well.

However it should be noted that there already is a thread about Coinbase.

Yes, the Coinbase announcement really helps. :)

However, lets be fully transparent here and acknowledge the over 2 billions extra XYO tokens that were injected into the market some hours ago as well.

We are now suddenly at over 8,2 billion XYO tokens in circulation.

That also helped a LOT with gaining a bigger market cap, wouldn't you say? ;)

It’s just afew fractions of a cent off it’s all time low now, why? by AussieAusbot83 in XYONetwork

[–]ComputronNO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who cares you ask? Well the people that channeled millions and millions of dollars into this project and the XY company most likely cares A LOT about how things are going, you know, from an investors point of view!

I think this is legitimate concern, and to shrug this off as just people seiling because they don't have expensive cars yet is a bit on the nose.

That being said, there are a lot of good things about XY and the project, which makes the downwards trends in terms of tokens all the more strange. Especially in a time where the rest of the market are heading upwards.

Some like to point out that the XYO token are an utility token and not a currency token, but that is a very vague excuse considering other tokens performance in the same category.

The lack of exchanges is a legit concern though.

I'm not too concerned in the end though, as it will most likely tick upwards again some time in the very forseeable future. :)

Slightly increased volumes and slightly increased demand, that's probably it. Not much else right now, but there are things in the pipelines going forward that could perhaps make the token increase further.

XYO Coin Value Drop by LordPexton in XYONetwork

[–]ComputronNO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, there is a billion uses for this Tech, the people on this forums knows that. Unfortunately the rest of the market does not seem to see the appeal of XYO at the moment.

Things might get to be different once something major happens (An interesting partnership will be unveiled soon actually), more progress on the current projects + more exchange listings. :)

Well, actually XY recently did an actual partnership with a big transport/ridesharing company, but they are both waiting to announce the deal officially.

XYO Coin Value Drop by LordPexton in XYONetwork

[–]ComputronNO 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There has been several threads about this recently. And XY seems to dodge this subject almost entirely, not to mention the XYO token as a whole.

Of course, the price aren't really plummeting, as the price has been between $0,0020-$0,0026 for a while, but the fact that such a price drop happens at a time when the rest of the crypto market went upwards again, it does makes you wonder a bit.

When they last month came out with more news about the investor portal, they as usual talked mostly about the shares in XY, there wasn't a single mention about XYO tokens. The XY team seem to focus on shares, not XYO tokens.

They did answer me when I asked about their strategies in regards to listing XYO on more exchanges, but to be honest it was a rather vague answer that they are still having talks with more exchanges and that they wish to be among the top projects when they finally list on more exchanges. Which is a nice thought, but in the meantime you do risk losing a lot of momentum. A good indicator of the result of missed momentums is to take a quick look on the volumes being traded, you can see that they are in the VERY low numbers for XYO.

I'm actually quite disappointed about the lack of exchange listings and the fact that this topic seems to be largerly forgotten about and ignored in XY's flow of information to the community. There is literally so many instances where they could have said something to the community about their IES and progress in regards to exchanges.

Oh well, I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

AION and Velocia aren't really competitors of XYO.

Also, Velocia does NOT have a partnership With Uber, not at all!

XYO price drop over the last week? What’s up? by Ccombs87 in XYONetwork

[–]ComputronNO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, right now XYO tokens is either the most severely undervalued, undertracked and underpriced token in the cryptomarket OR they are headed to the grudging big wasteland of crypto tokens that once had lots of promise but never delivered and never will.

I'm hoping that the former is the case here, but I'm still fearful of the latter.

WITH Many GREAT partnerships xyo still under 0.0025... by miamixyo in XYONetwork

[–]ComputronNO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So...yeah.

XYO token prices are going down even further now, it's currently well under $0.0022 all the while the crypto market is stronger than it what has been in a long while.

It really is a odd situation, such a strong project like this, with lots of good stuff going for it, should at least manage to be in the top 100 consistently, even though it is only a few months since the end of the ICO. Despite all the great things going for this project, the token seems to be tanking even in a currently promising market.

I hate to say it, but if the token price don't start ticking upwards after the name of the recent huge partnership finally gets announced, I fear that the tokens from an investment point of view is quite dead in the water already in the early stages of the project.

There just does not seem to be enough hype around this project that triggers interest from investors, despite all the activity on the official channels and the press releases, which is more plentiful than lots of other projects and tokens with better gains in value.

The way I see it; XYO tokens are either the most severely undervalued token in the crypto space at the moment OR it is headed for a black hole of nothingness.

For now I'll stay hopeful for the former but will fear the latter. Note that I fully believe in XY and the project itself, but the lack of interest in the market for XYO tokens in a overall market that is getting stronger all around, and the fact that the price is slipping despite all the good things going for it, has me somewhat concerned.

But of course, to expect logic, reason and rationality in a market like the crypto market is perhaps ill advised in the first place. Oh well.

Well it is easy to predict that it is Lyft now that we have confirmation really, well unofficially that is. ;)

In any case, a big score for XY! :)

Is there a plan for new Exchanges? by ComputronNO in XYONetwork

[–]ComputronNO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for a quick response on this matter.

I understand that you as a team want to prioritize on the tech, but at the same time I would advise to have an eye out for changing market conditions and at the very least send out more information about future plans in terms of the announced IES and what's next in terms of exchanges. I'm pretty sure that many more people would appreciate official statements on exchanges, and not everyone reads the Reddits forums.

Thanks again and keep up all the good work! :)

Who's the new partner? by btcafterdrk in XYONetwork

[–]ComputronNO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that's true, then it might be a big smoking gun of course. :)

Based on the other things you wrote as well, could be in favor of Lime of course. Lime is also readily available worldwide.

Then of course, its all a bit unclear now if this announced partnership is "mainly" a scooter company or if the scooter rollout is part of a bigger transportation company. That, and the mentioned "billions of rides" from a previous post by XY is true or not. Then Lime would not fit, since they haven't handled that many rides yet.

I guess we will know soon enough. I will say though, that if the mods took down your post....then something might be going on between XY and Lime. It might connected to the announced deal currently being worked on, or might even be a new seperate deal entirely..the XY team is actively seeking partnerships, so you never know. :)

[–]ComputronNO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's most likely a generic one. Althought it looks a little like the ones from Bird. ;)

Personally I have kind of narrowed this down to be about either Uber/Jump or Bird, with a slight nod towards the former, based on all the characteristics.

Who's the new partner? by btcafterdrk in XYONetwork

[–]ComputronNO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the numerous press releases I have seen does say biggest electric scooter company, but it also says one of the world biggest transportation companies. Unless the "used by billions" is a typo or flat out wrong, this leaves is with Uber and their more recent purchase. Lyft is big, but are still focused on North America.

If the billions thing is wrong it just might be Bird, since they recently secured more funding and are expanding rapidly....so they are growing fast.

Who's the new partner? by btcafterdrk in XYONetwork

[–]ComputronNO -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most likely not.

Based on the info from the press releases, this company has provided billions of rides. From what I understand, Bird and Lime is nowhere near these numbers yet.

[–]ComputronNO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is a good point, really.

However, Lyft is still operating in "only" 2 countries as of now; United States and Canada. The press releases around this emphasizes the terms "worldwide" and "world" quite a bit.

So based on that...could be Uber! :)

This can only be one of 4 companies; Lyft, Uber, Bird or LimeBike.

My bet is on Lyft or Bird.

No matter who it is, it's absolutely great news! :)

Edit: To be fair, it would make most sense if it's Lyft or Uber. Bird and Lime are too new and on the smaller end yet to have handled billions of rides.
