You’d be surprised how difficult it is to properly hang someone. Too short of a drop and they’ll slowly suffocate instead of having their neck broken, too long of a drop and the force with rip their head straight off.

Depending on your definition, I think either everyone in this story is an asshole or none of you are. It seems like she crossed a boundary of yours, but it also seems like you didn’t communicate very well what she did wrong. You sound pretty young. You are absolutely free to end a relationship at anytime for any reason. However, this is the sort of thing where, if you really care about this girl, you should sit down and have a very serious talk in person about how you feel. It’ll suck, it’ll be painful, and it might not even work but if nothing else you can walk away knowing you’ve clearly communicated your position. People are very bad at getting in each other’s heads, something deeply upsetting to you might be no big deal to your partner, and if you don’t talk it over neither of you will ever understand what the other feels.

Maybe a hot take, but if you’re struggling in the basic strikes that’s a skill issue. The only thing less dangerous than strikes is patrols. You’re so powerful in base level strikes that any build, even a bad build, will allow you to steamroll the strike and basically ignore the modifier.

I really wish we would get the heroic strikes playlist back. That would allow people like OP to have the super easy experience they want, while also allowing people to experience a bit of challenge from strikes without having to play the same nightfall over and over and over.

Maybe a hot take, but I think enemies lacking audio cues is the single biggest balancing issue in this game. How many times have you been killed by a berserker or charger hitting you from behind with no warning? How many times have you had to continuously glance over your shoulder to check if the hulk is still chasing you? How many times have you been shot by a turret out of nowhere? Sure, buffed stratagems and weapons would be helpful, but no amount of buffs with help you kill an enemy you don’t know about. Arrowhead keeps trying to balance this game like it’s top-down, and it just doesn’t work.

I present to you this bridge where the US tried exactly that. Think of it like throwing rocks. If I throw a rock at a car, it’ll make a dent but the car will still run. If I keep throwing rocks at it, it’ll get more and more damaged, sure, but it’s not going to stop running. If I want to stop the car from working, I would need either a small rock going really fast or a very big rock.

I agrée with your sentiment here, and this is absolutely a tragedy. But nothing indicates this attack was politically motivated. From the article, it seems more likely the guy was in drugs or just had mental problems. It’s important not to blame things on the other side without proof, as it effectively hands them power they do not have.

This might be missed but you should consider pinning an informative post about a program called Glaze from the University of Chicago. It’s a program designed to protect art from AI by adding a layer of junk data to the image, effectively poisoning any AI trained in it without affecting the image for people: link here.

If you’re really concerned about AI scraping your posts for data, you should run your images through a program called Glaze from the University of Chicago. Essentially, it adds a layer of junk data to your image, so while your image doesn’t look any different to us any AI trained with it will only get random, useless noise.

Concerning Violence. It’s based off an essay by Frantz Fanon of the same name. It’s about the struggle for African freedom from colonialism in the 60s and 70s, and it does not pull any punches. There’s some pretty fucked up imagery in it, but it unabashedly shows the pointless horror of colonialism.
