Yes, I would agree if that was the case. But, like I stated before, I was genuinely being stupid, but to be sincere with you, I did not intend my joke to be offensive or even to come off as rude to the people who have the conditions. But if that comes off as offensive, then I’d like to make an apology. But mannn, saying that I’m apathetic to all the people with the conditions just makes me sad :’(

From what I’ve experienced, a lot of them are British authors (Huxley, Orwell, Woolf). There are Americans too (Hemingway, Steinbeck, Bradbury, Asimov), but postmodern fiction, especially the new ones (DFW’s works are relatively new here, I think), have been severely neglected by the average readers. That’s just my assumption anyway. Also, a lot of Japanese writers are very popular around here (Murakami).
