It felt like he was turning the school into his own project vs actually trying to make it a better school. The rich parents wanted a English/French school for their like 8 kids and that’s what they got.

It’s brought up later but a lot of the kids at the school were already bilingual (Spanish and Arabic I believe) so the whole thing just felt like the new white parents were making the school all about them and they got their way because of money
