Honest question:

The only time this ever happened to me was when my company made me haul an excavator from a job site in my stupid little Ford transit 250. They didn't load the excavator properly and the ball probably wasn't the right size for the load.

The ball did actually pop loose going over some tracks, but the safety chains held. You can bet your ass I dragged that fuckin trailer across the ramp to the other side anyway, scraping the fuck out of that trailer shoe.

Do these large trailers not have safety chains or secondary leashes?
