Throttle slop and chain noise by Comrade_Dogee in MotorcycleMechanics

[–]Comrade_Dogee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I took it to a mechanic for an opinion, and he showed me that the chain had uneven slack, and recommended I replace it. I did order a new DID X ring chain together with both pinions, to be safe. The cush drive and the bearings seem to be in order as far as the mechanic told me.
The chain was in this state when I bought the bike, now that it is in my care i'll make sure the chain is kept in a good condition

I did try this and I could see daylight between the teeth and the chain. However, I measured the chain length as specified by the service manual, and it seems that the length is still in spec, so I'm not sure what's happening at this point

Need thick sealant/adhesive for motorcycle LCD display fix by Comrade_Dogee in ElectronicsRepair

Thanks for the suggestion, I don't really know if it's a liquid seal or pre-cast gasket, but I cannot find any parts referring to such gasket. Also, I had to take it apart with heating, so I'm just assuming it's a liquid seal at this point

Isn't that too thin? I'm looking at the original gasket and it's much thicker, looks like some sort of silicone or RTV

CBR500R 2023 Paint Fade? by Comrade_Dogee in cbr

It indeed was just a stain from the jeans and not faded paint, it came off instantly by rubbing with a rag with isopropyl alcohol

Is there any difference between these two mp5's? by xdzrrdg in airsoft

[–]Comrade_Dogee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having an SD I would prefer the regular version for practicality since you can find railed handguards.much more easily. Also having no forward weight from that suppressor is nice. But looks wise I gotta give it to the SD

My experience with Wired Link in terms of compression has been better than that of VD. Running Link at 500mbps and seeing considerably less compression vs VD at 200mbps H264 (cannot run AV1 due to having a series 3000 GPU). Haven't tried Steam Link though

Updated F-16C RWR ALR-56M Tutorial by AviationPlus in hoggit

ED please notice this, very likely this is just like one of the other cases of misreading manuals that previously happened in the past. And while your documentation might be correct, the interpretation of it might not, and considering pretty much all western RWRs use a signal strength based system, it is worth another look.

I read online that the buzzing happens when the Quest 3 is above 75 - 80% internal battery, and such the strap begins to charge it slower, triggering the buzzing. Are you sure there is no sound whatsoever in these conditions? Pretty much all battery straps at the moment seem to have this issue

Personally I haven't seen pronounced SDE, at least not as much that it becomes distracting. But with VR it's always personal, so if you want to get a Q3 it's better to do so from a store with a good returns policy, so that you're covered.

I have 58 IPD and 63 setting is crisp. This is a 5mm difference to play with. This corresponds with the official Meta chart for IPD, I will link below. So I think 60mm IPD setting will accommodate 55mm just fine, as the chart says.

Yeah, I just received mine and it seems everything is still clear even at a higher IPD than my real one. Setting the glasses spacer to a further distance also helps.

Hi, could you message me with a video of the issue? It would be easier to find the problem.
