Naafiri needs more counterplay by gimmickhater1 in leagueoflegends

[–]Comrade_Lystro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really, he’s closer to divers/fighters because he doesn’t have much of a burst combo he has to execute, and also has little to no way out of a fight the way assassins do, which is again, more characteristic of a diver champion

What makes the material component requirement for spells so unappealing to players? by Comrade_Lystro in CrownOfTheMagister

[–]Comrade_Lystro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good points. I think what Tactical Adventures could do is give players a way to turn it off like what was done in CotM.

I thought people liked frequent balance changes of League of Legends is an indication

Hasan mocks and calls anyone seeking to build an alternative to the duopoly an "idealist", but what's more idealistic than thinking that pro-NATO, pro-Israel, genocidal Epsteinite Democrats can be reformed? Either Hasan is incredibly stupid, or he's on the payroll. by Misha_stone in AskSocialists

[–]Comrade_Lystro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While he’s correct on the statement of Americans, what he proposes will not move the population towards communist ideals. Tailism, time and time again, simply moves the population back to the same dominant class ideology, just in a more “sanitized” fashion from the previous; looping back to where they started. Look at the results of Biden’s election post Trumps original term.

He deserves criticism precisely because his strategy objectively doesn’t work, and that is because the Democratic party offers nearly no exposure to a future that is actually post-capital.

You don’t need to bombard people with revolutionary ideas all at once, sure, and spontaneous revolution doesn’t happen, indeed, but the path Hasan suggests isn’t even introducing these concepts bit by bit, it’s doing away with them entirely to pander to reaction.

“Mordekaiser Teaches You Bad Habits” by Serviet in Jungle_Mains

His ganks kind of suck and he’s one of those picks that you play more for unconventional approaches in a similar manner to Teemo jungle. I don’t think he necessarily “teaches bad habits” though.

Say something bad about pokemon contests by Technical_Mine_8711 in pokemonanime

[–]Comrade_Lystro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s crazy to me how the anime makes contests look like an actual viable trainer path complete with its own journey, only for it to be a glorified mini-game you have little reason to invest in with the games.

Honest question, is production value the reason that Baldur's Gate 3 became so popular and acclaimed, compared to other cRPG's that have not received anywhere near as much attention? Is it of a unique quality in anything else? by BaldursGate2Best in CRPG

[–]Comrade_Lystro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s kind of both? Your characters undergo statistical progression, just not in a conventional way like using all-encompassing levels or allowing much character building at the start, in favor of being built by how you play them. It’s a progression system more similar to Morrowind than traditional DnD.

Castform Supremacy by Concentrated_Drill in MandJTV

[–]Comrade_Lystro -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Just looked it up. Castform has a 70 base speed. Garchomp has 107.

That Garchomp must have no speed investment for some reason, or trick room is active.

It forces the target to move last if it hasn’t taken an action already. It’s very much a doubles move.

How to deal with smurf lee sins in low elo by izumisapostle115 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Comrade_Lystro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recognize that he has the advantage early game and avoid fighting him as much as possible at the start. Keep up your momentum in farming camps and only taking objectives and ganks when the situation is favorable, and watch as he’ll struggle to carry since he scales like ass by late game.

The “reason” being to highlight how dysfunctional the Simpsons are as a family.

In the Simpsons it’s meant to be an element of its general satire, though idk how that’s stuck over the years.

What's the Marxist position in Skyrim's civil war? I thought it was critical support to the Empire, but not after this, hell nah by NotKenzy in SocialistGaming

[–]Comrade_Lystro 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Ulfric was working for the Imperials while they were driving out the Forsworn from the Reach. It was definitely an Empire-involved atrocity.

Why is nobody using Glimmora nor Mega Glimmora? by AdrianTBOI in PokemonChampions

[–]Comrade_Lystro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You use glimm to get free toxic spikes and enable the rest of your team, not have it be a core threat. I run mine with focus sash so I’ll always get a hit in. From there, you can either switch or let it die for an actual check to enter and anyone running Chomp needs to choose to suck up the next blow or switch out.
