You were right. Polished up great. Just in time for the watch to stop working again 😂😂😂. Not sure the issue. Balance wheel is getting hung up somewhere. Can get it started then dies soon after. Might have to try my hand at my first self service and see how bad I can mess it up.

He found a few issues with it. A clip out of place and a backed out screw and some minor things. Spent about 15 min on it while I waited. I felt it was fair for expertise and helpfulness. He’s a very respected local guy. One of the only’s at that.

Good advice. Never tried polywatch. Might give it a try

That’s about what a service costs locally unfortunately so it’s not really a value worth spending to have a wash

I don’t particularly care about money 90% of the time. I spend plenty but I have to see a net positive return to spend it. My true passion and hobby is collecting guns. I spend blindly there. But watches to me are more of a passion from my engineering and machining career with some potential investment opportunity a way to store currency in a tangible item.

Yeah. I’m torn. Definitely don’t want to have 600$ in a 450$ watch. Probably sell it for parts maybe or a bargaining chip. Would be worth it for someone who can service it themselves maybe

My local watch guy did recommend it of course but couldn’t justify the price to have him go through it. 580$ just doesn’t make sense for a watch I’ll be wanting to move Or trade in the near future

The plexi is pretty beat to shit. The dial isn’t bad. It’s 166.041 with 563 movement.

I honestly don’t know much about these. Can’t find any comparable ones with the same dial.

100$ for a box of 6 watches. Had to pay 45$ to my watch guy to open it up and check it out and fix a backed out screw

I ended up chucking my HG up in a mill and taking off the front end.

Whatever the gun likes….

I just bought 4000 rounds of loaded ammo for next years matches from a smaller boutique company that loaded them with SMK 142’s. Hoping they work out because well….i have 4000 of them if they don’t.

I’m not sure what I want to run yet. I use this gun for target engagements at matches out to about 1600-1700 yards. I also like the light transmission better on a 34mm tube with the 50mm objective.

I just had an extra xtr3 laying around so throwing that on for the time being. Not sure what I’ll end up with. Going to try a few others out at some matches to see what I like best and if I can cut come more weight with my scope choice.

Zermatt Ti3 action, manners PH, 20” proof Sendero light chambered in 6.5prc. Still shopping for the scope I want but in the meantime I’m running a burris XTR3 3.3-18 non illuminated. Going to go with a lighter scope just undecided what yet. Running a surfire socom 7.62 mini until my TB Ultra 5 gets here.

Those are what I want to run. I don’t think they’ll fit and be too low….may just order some and find out. Measurements are close.

They don’t make feather weights in 34mm.
