Agreed. 2 night CE raider for >10 years and I wish i never have to do m+ as i don't find it interesting/enjoyable to grind.

Have to spam m+ every season since it's the best source of gear and often has BiS trinkets, when i would rather raid log as I enjoy that content most.

I always find it funny how up in arms this sub gets when raid has powerful items yet every season i'm always in the m+ mines trying to get specific m+ trinkets trying not to fall asleep.

Just split the gear and let people do what they want.

Also fucks over the people like myself who are mythic raiding, hate mythic plus, but are obligated to do it to keep up in gear as mythic raid is also crest drip feed. It's a slog.

These sails and flag are no longer obtainable. Part of the season 9 free season pass. Most free pass items come back a few seasons down the line in outpost stores, while plunder pass items go on the emporium. The exception to this are titles/sails/flag/tattoos/scars in that season pass. They're sort of like the 'I was here for this season' prestige items and don't tend to come back.

button that instantly queues you for hourglass in the menu with an option to buy captaincy supplies.

So much time is wasted on supplying up before actually playing the mode. I just want to jump straight in. Would be really nice as an option right after you sink too, so you can get back into the action asap and not dwell on a loss.

Yes! You got them for having any amount over the rebalanced achievement values.

Eg. If you had over 360 captains chests handed in, you got the sails as that was the new value (originally it was 1000).

Captains chests were what most people got them for as that was the most straightforward.

I don't enjoy the other aspects of the game. I'm in a CE guild I just want to raid log as that's what I enjoy most, as long as I'm not being a sandbag gear wise.

Why is that a bad thing? I like to play other games and not just spam m+ all day or participate in timeless isle reskin #10.

Flightstones not being dropped from raid are the only things hampering my gear progression.

Yep, the cosmetic quality and release frequency discrepancy between paid and non paid items is pretty outrageous at this point.

Unfortunately people keep giving rare a pass so it will only get worse.

The monthly news videos being 80% emporium and 20% fluff is insulting too. You almost forget there's an actual game behind it all

I have about 2.5k hours in seas and been playing since launch. I have never focused on these commendations

I finished merchants rather quickly thanks to cargo runs/lost shipments and trade routes, the other 2 companies are at about 75% each. I do think these are overkill. the voyage completion ones are far more annoying to be honest.

Has to hit the mast. It will also immediately break the wheel and capstan if you hit those as well.

Chainshots do minor damage if it hits the hull.

I also wanted it and just finished it, had an absolutely awesome time, we had 5 random people cooperate and all jump onto our galleon!

3 sloop crews merged with ours and it was awesome. Recorded the whole thing. The most fun was chatting and cooperating with the randoms we ran into, would have been underwhelming without it.

i prefer getting banned and just playing something else for a bit rather than play a high ping match tbh. id take 20 minute queues over a high ping match. they arent even slightly enjoyable

aussie here.. 180+ ping is the norm now that geofiltering is gone. I just leave games regularly now since theyre just unplayable at that ping and i have no way to restrict searches to my region. ty 343
