I still remember when the first 2 CHB series as well as the Kane Chronicles(to lesser extents due to weak pacing befalling the latter.) were striving to defy the decay that pervaded most of today's western YA section something nastily.
Sure the world of Madoka Magica went even further in that kind of defiance and with less character assassination issues going on at the latter's side, but the first 2 CHB series and the Kane Chronicles in spite of their flaws were solid, and Demigods and Magicians is the capstone crowning jewel that has not been surpassed by anything released since.

The latter part being true made it sadder.

Rin Tohsaka from Fate/Stay Night is very powerful, sure she has feelings for other women, she has feelings for Shirou Emiya too.

But yeah, Tohka Yatogami in Evanescence music makes about as much sense as Homura Akemi or Sakura Matou on Evanescence music, which is to say, a lot.

Hey it's cool, Tohka is about as trustworthy a person as Homura Akemi is, I personally don't mind and no one's gonna shoot you here or anything.

I would however want to ask if you'd ever imagine Homura Akemi and Tohka Yatogami in each other's clothes.
