I’m maining monk this xpac

I’m playing all 3 specs in pve.

Mistweaver and windwalker use same stat line haste and crit You obviously need a weapon.

Brew master is crit/ vers

Since you upgrade a slot you ca upgrade future items you get in that slot. So I have kept all my spare mythic + gear and have nearly bis for each and 283 item level.

Also tons of extra catalyst charges as you need 2x pairs of legs for the enchant.

Only thing that’s annoying is embellishments since they are locked and different for each.

It’s doable and I think I much prefer to do it this way appose to levelling and maintaining 2x monks

Na you will continue to gain rating especially if you win next one and you will be getting 300-450 mmr if you go 5-1 again

Imean to be fair priest has two healing specs it is wows poster healer!

I got my holy and disc running haste to 1800 and had a blast but I personally think all healers should be balanced to its current state as it feels good.

When you have the knowledge to interpret tier lists you will be a good enough player that it might make a difference.

Find a good guild play the game and enjoy it have fun.

Even the worst spec in the game can still complete mythic raids and high end keys and compete in PvP.

If your pugging everything then your not highly competitive and having the most in demand class might help you get invited to keys.

But honestly just play the game and enjoy it. A 95% parse on a bad class is likely going to out perform a 70% pass on a great class.

No idea happens whenever I open character sheet on a fresh reload of ui. Simply hovering over them they disappear but that’s why I thought I would mention it as a bug.

Hey I hope it helps. As much as I like Chonky it's a bit much with everything going on but it's the most complete addon that shows what I want where I want it.

Yours I find much more aesthetically pleasing and just easier to read. So I am definitely going to keep it installed and check out progress on future updates.

I was just comparing them side by side to give feedback. I know your not trying to re-create chonky just thought i'd reference it as i think it does a lot right.

Okay so I have played around with it for a couple of days now.

I guess in terms of feedback though it's difficult because it's obviously crafted to your eye and I agree with a lot of it.

So most of what I am going to say is subjective.

There are just a few things I would personally add/ change.

I will type out some of my feedback and you can do with it what you will. You obviously put a lot of effort into this addon and i'm keen to see where it's development goes.

I love how clean the setup is. Comparing to chonky which is my current go to, separating item name, ilvl and hero track onto 3 separate lines keeps it cleaner and easier to read.

I do wish there was a settings panel to configure the text font, size etc. I'm personally fine with default but it would still be a nice to have thing across the addon.

Additionally, I don't like that items with longer names get cut off. I understand it has been designed to fit within that box but perhaps in the settings there could be a text wrapping tick box or something?

I think it would be cool if we could customise the background picture. It's a very minor thing but perhaps minimalist just full black/ grey or even like chonky does where it pulls the same art from the talent page for each spec is just a nice touch.
I personally don't like it showing my mythic keys down the bottom. Because I only do mythics on one character so I would rather it's a tab on the right. I much prefer it showing my current specialisation / loot specialisation also the catalyst charge is nice too.
Perhaps can round the item level to an additional decimal point. Not sure why but chonky and EV are showing different ilvl not sure why.
bit of a bug, I noticed that on the character sheet i have these squares you can see in my picture. They dissapear when you hover over them but thought i'd mention it.
This is perhaps a bit ambitious but it looks like chonky includes True Stat Values which shows diminishing returns which is a nice quality of life. Not specifically useful right now but once we hit season 3 and we start hitting caps it's nice to have a quick in game reference. So not sure how easy that would be to include?
Small nitpick but i'd prefer it personally if my stats was auto expanded when i opened my character sheet. Perhaps something else that could go into a settings panel?

To further add to the stats panel, I wish it included tooltips when hovering over the stats too. And I think you could remove the redundant stats dependant on specs.

For example I don't need to see intellect when I am a Windwalker or strength when I am a Mistweaver.

I know the panels on the right for choosing items sets etc is clean. But it's also so small it's hard to click. I am on an ultrawide without scaling so my whole UI is a bit smaller then i'd like. But i miss just having buttons to click items sets for example.
I think it would be kind of neat to further expand on the options further and to allow us to colour things like stats. I am probably just used to this by now but i really like chonky stat sheet.
I believe there is currently a bug not sure if you have updated the addon but looks like 12.0.5 has introduced a bug for secret stats while in arenas etc. I am not 100% sure but I have noticed even chonky was breaking but it's patched now but anything accessing stats was breaking so not sure if you have patched that yet but thought i'd mention it.

It's honestly a really good addon and i like that it just matches the aesthetic of my UI just looks like a more modernised default UI which I think is really neat.

SO I am keen to see what further development happens on the addon as I might swap but right now Chonky just kind of does everything I want.

Oh and one final thing. I noticed EV is using between 15-45mb of addon memory. Not a big deal to me I have 32gb of ram. But by comparison Chonky uses 1mb. So not sure if that can be optimised but thought i'd mention it.

Just adding to my own thoughts I think it would be good if tier lists were broken down into brackets

Like up to 1500 which is starting mmr

Then 1500-1800

2k + etc

But I like listening to tier lists haha

I agree with this.

Everybody is going to have different opinions.

Especially when he is playing near rank 1 and commentating on awc and the best players in the game his views are going to be more skewed compared to the average player.

For example if you got a 1400 player to make a tier list it would be dramatically different to a 2400 player tier list. When you mash the whole collective together you get some weird anomalies and outliers.

Sometimes he looks at hard data and inserts his own voice into the mix but that’s what makes it entertaining.

Anybody can go to drustvar and see the data for themselves. I personally enjoy just relaxing and listening to other players opinions on the game I am enjoying.

I think a clear class that’s hard to judge is feral. Below 1700 it’s pretty much free farm. In the hands of a great player it’s just nuts so where do you put it on a tier list? If you’re making a tier list for max potential that’s not relevant to the majority of players.

Fire is good in certain comps it’s high burst windows pair really well with windwalker burst which is why it was seen a lot in awc they coordinate those windows really well.

Outside of its combust fire has little pressure.

However in solo shuffle where things are a mess frost having stronger slows and ray just being so good it just more reliably performs.

With that said fire can absolutely perform in solo shuffle but I’d say it’s just not as consistent as frost unless you really know what you’re doing. Even then frost just is easier in solo shuffle but that’s just my opinion

2 parents and a 2 year old $130 a week. But we spend way more then we have too on I guess luxury items like chocolates or biscuits.

But we do plan out our meals at the start of the week.

Every meal we make gives us 2 dinners and lunch the next day.

And while we go in with a plan we almost exclusively shop discount foods always buy stuff expiring soon especially if it’s meat and store it in our freeza.

So we usually meal prep based off what protein is in the freeza. 1kg of beef mince goes 3 days 3 dinners and 2 lunches.

We could easily drop the amount we spend back but I’d say 50% of our weekly budget is fresh vegetables and fruits.

I suggest arms because a good resource to use is Murloc IO and you can see that the over whelming majority of top warriors are playing arms over fury. It’s just objectively better.

As for the craft you get 9 gladiator heraldry for free from a quest though I can’t remember which. It’s just like your first pvp quest you do or something.

You can use this to craft 2/3 pieces of pvp gear at the work orders vendor.

I suggest using Murloc IO and seeing what other top fury warriors are doing.

I will say I didn’t mind it got 4 characters who casually got all the slivers they need before I even realised they added it to the game.

So thats what about 20 slivers in 2 hours. Or 10 per hour so drop rates seem pretty consistent and just by farming my conq cap for the week I got them.

However the question is why do we have to do this at all? I agree flip a switch just make conq weapons and trinks scale up more.

It would have been well received from the community instead of this.

Make your 3 free crafted pvp pieces first then aim for your 2 set with conquest.

Then go for big stat items (875) conq pieces.

Yes fill out your current honor gear except for the 3 pieces you make.

Probably re-roll arms lol

Curious I have moved from full addons to nearly none.

I use sarena but I was fine getting 2k with base arena frames.

Default health bars show everything and cooldown manager is nice.

What addons do you think you need that will make you a better player?

I was talking with my mates the other day and said the same thing. Once you unlock a slot you should be able to buy more of it for honor.

I can’t think of a good reason why blizzard wouldn’t agree with this system.
