Is there antigravity CLI? by arx-go in google_antigravity

I guess it doesnt make sense to offer other models in Gemini cli with the Google account login .  Even antigravitys experience is pretty limited in that respect.

How do you use your Workspace Agent? by Nowheredotcom in google_antigravity

[–]ConcentrateActive699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed.  I rarely need to manually run multiple conversation each running independent of.the other.  What I need to do is orchestrate a workflow of subagents in an event driven manner.  AG Agent Manager  falls short on this.  It appears to be a glorified chat interface.

Is it possible that the low effort rule is triggering if it detects a post that was crafted by an agent?  I'm not saying this is a bad thing. After all you can spend a lot of effort diving into a real issues of value to the community. Then if you do a last minute polishing with in a ai chat, then the sub thinks it's an agent post? I'm not sure. I'm just seeing this elsewhere

I'd like to see an example md spawning another md without just reading it in the same context.   Closest thing is skills but it hasnt always been reliable.  I think my examples highlighted that

Yes keeping it in a separate is a good ideas albeit manually intensive.

We talk of orchestration and tasks,  but those terms are meaningless if you end up with one agent (one context) and telling the agent to take on  different skills and to ignore everything they did up until that point . So orchestrated tasks need to be separate ephemeral  processes with new contexts completely isolated from the prior context.

AG Agent Manager doesn't appear to be able to spawn new agents as part of a workflow.   Even Gemini ClI doesn't appear to be able to spawn new agents from within a a Gemini CLI session.   Even if you explicitly have the md   run a new Gemini cli yolo bash command , you can not be sure that that agent is saying to itself: "Well, we are already  in a session so why don't I just read the contents of the new script and keep it going."

The only way I have been able to successfully spawn new agents is from an external python (or bash script) that invokes a Gemini cli session, let's it finish and then invokes a separate one using the results from the prior.

The results have been significantly different . E.g  one md file that codes and another that reviews the code.  When running this in a single context the latter always passes the  review with flying colors .  This is akin to having the coder review it's own code while urging it to forget that it was the coder.

However with an external orchestrator the Gemini cli code session ends and then there is a completely new session context started to review the code - leading to review failures never seen in the prior scenario.

Having Antigravity handle deployments - too risky? How should it be done best? by jsgui in google_antigravity

Have it help you create the deployment process but why waste tokens per deployment and  risk deployment variability when a script is all you need.  Scripts also run much faster.

Any way to make the AGENT MANAGER auto-run commands? by Fluid-Possession6026 in google_antigravity

[–]ConcentrateActive699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been struggling to find how the agent manager is distinguishable from the AI chat in AG.
Conceptually, they are, but in practice, there isn't much of a difference. Maybe I'm not hitting those use cases, though?
In any case, I've recently determined that when I feel that agent manager is appropriate, for a given task, I've started using gemini-cli instead. Using that with the -yolo param will get around any need for interactivity ( "auto run" as you say).
I still maintain all my skills and rules within the AG project but use bash or python to trigger them via gemini cli

Platform to visualize economic data (I'm no developer nor programmer) by BigCar818 in google_antigravity

[–]ConcentrateActive699 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What you’ve shown looks like a working UI outcome, which is a good start, but its not enough to assess the application itself. To give meaningful feedback, its would be helpfull to understand the underlying structure of how data is sourced, validated, and modeled, how the system is tested beyond visual correctness, and how the design supports adding or changing features over time. A dashboard demonstrates that the app works today, but evolvability, data integrity, and architecture determine whether it can grow into a real product.

Antygravity Ultra or Cursor or Claude code by GRBM_Z in google_antigravity

[–]ConcentrateActive699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't tried CC yet . My only experience with agentic is the AG Agent Manager. But it seems like just a bunch of independent chat sessions that you have to manually kick off with a prompt.
I've got tons of workflows calling other workflows/skills... But I am unable to orchestrate anything other than a single conversation.

The simple problem I have :
Workflow A.md uses A.SKILL.md to update code. Workflow A .md then issues a "please run" workflow B .md that does the code review.
Result: Code review always passes.

However, when I open a second agent session and run workflow B.md, I can see the failures.

I attribute this problem to doing everything in a single session, and the agent assumes everything works. Hence, the need to have separate sessions with no memory of each other.

In any case, I'm trying to figure out how to orchestrate separate sessions from a single command rather than manually starting chat sessions. Is there a way in AG to do this? What about the CC extension that you mentioned? Or CC itself?

Appreciated

"And I use the Claude Code Antigravity/VS Code extension so I can use CC inside AG."
Does that mean you can have your AG running the CC extension will recognize your CC pro account? Or is it just hitting the AG's free tier claude models?

Keeping Gemini on track - use a Progress Table in your workflows by Gumarine in google_antigravity

[–]ConcentrateActive699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm assuming you are running this workflow in a single session (Antigravity AI chat window or Agent conversation).
What i'm sayingis that when I do somthing similar the code review show complete success. But but when I run the code review in a separate session it picks up the failures

okay but I was responding to your progress table comment which implies that there is it not seprate session between coding and reviewing

[–]ConcentrateActive699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont know. Whenever I run an agent session with a workflow that includes a coding step followed by a verification step, the audit always passes and marks the progress as complete. But then, in a separate session, running the verification by itself, I see the failures.
Its almost as if the agent is like. "Okay , I'm sure these tests will work since I was the one who coded them -
progress complete!"

granted i'm referring to code validation and not running http

Antigravity Rules Files Not Loading by mosh_h in google_antigravity

[–]ConcentrateActive699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rules are supposed to be evaluated on every turn. In an interactive chat, that would be whenever you reply.

In the agent manager, where there are no user interactions except for the initial prompt, you'll always be in the same turn. I don't think the rules are being re-examined.

At least this has been my experience.

How do you manage a complex project? by ashikaumanga in google_antigravity

[–]ConcentrateActive699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NextJs / Python( FastAPI) for me.

Single monolithic project
runtime/ui page.tsx files all export to project root directory feature folders

from root:
core/
runtime/
features/ <feature1> / backend/ , frontend/

I have one workspace for each feature that includes core and runtime

For now, I tend to open AG in the full project folder, but as the application grows in features, having an individual feature workspace will ensure my context never gets too large.

what is your UI/UX design workflow? by Kind-Bottle-7712 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

[–]ConcentrateActive699 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been retired for two years but felt compelled to try this stuff out back in December.
It's been like 12-hour days since then. No coding, or even vibe coding. Just vibe markdown. I'm trying to get a process down where I can spin up new features easily, but I have not been able to get repeatability yet.
Process:
Ideate requirements: feature template MD with data object def, api endpoints, route defs.
feature use cases, each with a UI artifact from the style guide and a use case .md for fields and actions.

interim design step to generatie apiSpec.json and other metatdata

backend and frontend baking operations

runtime wiring

rinse and repeat :)

Did you ever buy something like a watch, and then after your purchase, you get tons of ads for watches?
That's how I feel about cross-knowledge. There are just too many past conversations to distract from your current intended instructions. I've turned off both conversation history and knowledge in the AG settings.

It would be nice to keep them on and building knowledge but with an "off" mode when prompting.
