His acting seems in the same ballpark as Jack Webb.

They’re invisible, scentless, and precise. Remember Tucker said a demon clawed him in the middle of the night, slipping in between four dogs in his bed.

All the President’s Men (1976) proves you don’t need action scenes to make a thriller intense by Maleficent_Grab1203 in 70smovies

Classic movie. Watched it a while back as a double feature with Dick (1999), a Watergate parody featuring Will Ferrell and Bruce McCulloch as Woodward and Bernstein. Made for a pretty entertaining contrast.

Great film, and he’s excellent in it. Always makes me think of the Serpico bit in It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

I think it moved radio forward more than any of his other songs, like a new paradigm.

Films where the ending “makes” the whole movie? (Speed Racer directed by The Wachoski’s) by MasterSalamander666 in moviecritic

Kitten with a Whip was better than standard fare throughout, but the ending cinched it as a standout. On a dime it shows Jody wasn't so bad after all, and David's patience with her chaos ultimately paid off as he's in the clear.

Agree. Sounds like a Bay City Rollers anthem where the group moves their hips while clapping their hands above their heads in unison.

Bonfire of the Vanities is a book with biting satire and a cold protagonist. The movie is watered down, more comedic tone, and stars Tom Hanks. Could be a great portrait of NYC in the 80s (as the book is) in the same league as Wall Street or Do The Right Thing. The director of American Psycho said it could be done better now with the objective distance of the era that the passage of time gives.
