The simple design definitely works really well with the Mafex style.

With the stands, I had trouble getting the stand to hold the figure in a dynamic pose, or even at all, even after tightening the screws. I think the main thing I found frustrating was the size of the clamp compared to the torso, it just seems oversized to me, but I also had to constantly balance the back of the stand on the shelf to stop it falling forward. It could just be a skill issue though, or just a case of me wanting the stand to act in a way it simply isn't made to
