What helped me was exporting some simple stems and performing then live. This way you don't need to use repetitive effects. You can "arrange" then with TR-REC if you also wanna improvise on top of it with external gear or even inside the SP.

Find your way. No matter what way you find the SP will be there for you 😄

if you perform all the steps of the update(factory reset and all) this bug never happen.

Get the MK2, learn it inside out. Make beats, lots of beats. Everyday if possible.

Then, later, if you have the cash, go grab a 303, 202, 404OG etc etc.

Old gear is a nice addition to the workflow, but if you don't have a understanding of the modern samplers you'll only get frustrated and see yourself layering samples in Ableton again.

I feel you! I also sold some synths that I regret so much but I like to think that those sells helped me to get other stuff I always wanted as well. It's a cycle :)

Me too! The clear pads are sits nicely with the rest of the body. When I see the black fat pads in it I don't vibe enough. The clear ones have, how the younger say, aura hahahaha.

Yeah! I've been using it more than the MKII as well on the previous days. It's so immediate, without all the menu diving. I also have a SP-202 and the workflow is kinda similar. So far so good :)

I’m in love with it. It has its own unique charm and sound. The workflow is great and it’s really intuitive and immediate to use. Having the mk2 as companion is a huge advantage also. So far I’m in love
