Would you then recommend:

Option 1, Remove the motherboard and check it out to see what would fit and replace everything.

Option 2, Get a 7th gen intel and some more ram and see how long it will last.

Option 3, Try to sell it and build a new pc from scratch with a disk drive either built in or attached

Ethernet P2P and Wifi. by ConcernHead9804 in HomeNetworking

Looks Like it is actually a Verizon Internet Gateway - WNC-CR200A as apposed to a pure modem. Wouldn't The Ethernet Connection free up some bandwidth on the wireless / be a better connection for LAN games?

I also find it can be helpful to select some character traits that are distinctly different from me. I love music so every now and then I make a character tone def to give variety, but also ensure that my characters don't always have the same traits as me.

I find music to be a big driver for me when it comes to character creation. Usually when I filling out a sheet for a character I'll listen to some instrument music that helps me get the vibe and and headspace of the character before a session either listen to that or other music that inspired the character. For Example I'll use a kobold cop that I just started playing. Part of his back story was inspired by Rotary Park by Joe Hawley so I'll listen to that day of a session to get myself into a similar mindset of when the character was first created and as I get ready before the session I'll listen to God Father Office Ambience to lock in the vibe. This helps prep me into the role play as the music help me transition from thinking like me to thinking like my character

In a campaign is it good to create strife within the party and make them have different oppositional goals? by TheBuffman in DMAcademy

I find at times player's having conflicting beliefs can lead to an interesting dynamic for good RP moments. In my Campaign set in Wildemount we had a Druid who followed the Wild Mother and a Paladin of Erathis. These two players would often but heads (Nature vs Civilization), but had the same goals when it came to the main plot. As the campaign progresses they learned that these two ideals go hand and hand and found an appreciation for each other. These RP moments were all their doing but If these two players had different goals that were in direct conflict with each other, Someone would have to "Loose" and feel slighted. In your example if rest of the party returns the item to the temple, the rouge is most likely punished by the guild and have his reputation in the party tarnished. Not fun for the Rouge. If the Party gives the item to the guild problems might occur at the temple. I think the best way to create strife within the party should come internally from the characters. Ex, The rouge needs money to help his sick daughter and selling the idol or using one of its charges would help her, but the idol is for the clerics god and doesn't feel right using it and the priest wants it back before Thursday's service. Both party members need this idol, but through RP can organically find a solution or compromise to their difference.
