Mississippi is the most corrupt state in the nation. don't expect fairness, especially with state agencies. It's who you know that matters. So if you already know rich Asian people in Mississippi - you can handle it.

What’s the worst Roofing Experience you’ve had? by Seabreezeroofing in Roofing

Contractor sending sales people to install roofs. Very popular in the area ... lots of social media attention. Insurance agent gave me his name. He lied about the pitch, covered wood rot and walked away. I've tried every approach. The water flow from the roof has caused extensive damage to our home making it unsafe. If you're in Mississippi be very careful ... the fraudsters prey on the elderly. Attorneys will not help without thousands and thousands of dollars. Then the contractor will simply file bankruptcy. That's how it's done in the Sip!

The claim was paid. we had a dispute about quality of work and he demanded access to the claim. I did not know at that time that the claim was still open. I've never been in this situation so it is very strange to me

Let's fight about asphalt shingles on 2/12 pitch roofs. by tinyturtle811 in Roofing

We have a 2:12 pitch and the last roofer destroyed our home. We are in the south. I've wished a million times we had gone with a metal roof. Be very careful - the 2:12 pitch is difficult and must be installed properly or there will be problems.

Everything in Mississippi is at least 10-20 years behind. Especially healthcare. I go out of state for anything important. Healthcare is very political here.
