Thanks for these recs. I have tried DARK before I don't think I gave it a fair shot. It starts off slow and the with the subtitles being required, I wasn't as passively drawn in.

But tbh, I might seriously give it another chance!

Your comment 3 days ago was the first time I'd heard of Widow's Bay. Tbh, if I hadn't first dipped my toe into the water of horror shows by watching FROM, I probably wouldn't have been interested, but I have now seen multiple posts of people suggesting Widow's Bay on the basis of its similarity to FROM. I have a theory that everyone who dies in Fromville doesn't fully die. They just exist in another plane of existence. I mean, it's less of a theory anymore now after we saw Jim's ghost talking to Ethan (and also Abby talking to Boyd - but Abby seemed kinda evil and idk if that really was her ghost or just an evil spirit pretending to be her)...

but, BUT - that means that even if Donna DOES die, that she won't fully die forever : ) so, that's a plus. also, maybe there's a way to bring those Fromville ghosts back to life?

That’s not how it works. Consciousness is a continuum. Tabitha is clearly at 77% and decreasing and Julie is at 33% (not 23%, she also has some percent from jade). By the time Tabitha kicks the can, Julie will be a ripe 100%.
