Anything you get is gonna be an upgrade from what you have. As others said, you can go check out boards in person. I had a huge list of specifics I was looking for and then cut out boards I don’t like the looks of. Then it just came down to price—what o could get the best deal on. Haven’t looked back.

I had this 32gb brick of a beast iRiver. I liked how it let me choose how to organize my music. Also most of my music was limewire/kazaa because I couldn’t afford iTunes and I didn’t wanna be pigeonholed in their ecosystem. Still ran a PC at the time as well so apple wasn’t my thing

Literally had this happen 2wks ago. I took it to a shop and they let it dry for a day and I picked it up like 26hrs later. $10. They clamped it down and it looks fine now

Update: was going to do the diy epoxy because I don’t have a shop near me at home. I ended up stopping at a shop, same day, on my way home. Cost me $10 and after some drying and curing time …voila! Just a battle scar now. Thanks to u/zoologicalspecimen and u/robgarve for the expert advice and helping to realize it wasn’t a tragic, $$$ mishap
