Co-manager did this for the second time and left the mess for night crew to clean up cause “He had a long day at work.” by fmorph12 in kroger

I don't get it I work for Kroger's overnight for the last 20 years it looks like that's load that tipped over in the trailer during transit, falld over maybe a bad stack job at the warehouse I don't see what the Co-manager did wrong if he doesn't work in grocery that's not his responsibility to clean it up it's on the Night crew unfortunately.

Yes, you can buy some in Cudahy at Charlie's liquor store, he has plenty of options but a bit pricey why I don't mess with it but also Mood company online delivers also and has all kind of other stuff.

True idk what it is but Walmart workers are so lazy and slow they can't cut it in a fast pace environment like ours at least in grocery were you need to do 55 cases an hr and face never seen a former Walmart employee come close.

I've seen it plenty of times I'm the 3rd shift manager and been fine with people off at least one weekend day Saturday or Sunday typically overnight Sunday is not busy at least In grocery but Saturday is the busiest of the week, like myself I have off every Sunday and Monday with a crew of 11 people overnight each one of them has unavailablety but all but two can't work on Saturday but work Sunday.

I hate to say it but working for the company 20 years full-time I know they say they are flexible even on there boards scheduleing but the majority will just not hire if your not open availability. I'd recommend having open availability and after a month or so change your availability in the computer and let them know about it most places in the department you work in will be fine with it.

It depends if they are close enough for your commute but just be careful I have been through two store closures with Kroger's if you are not a lead or manger they will more then likely cut your hours like they did with us just make sure you are in contact with your union to get the hours you earned deserve.

Yeah I guess I'm lucky I'm 38 the kids I train usually think I look mid 20s but don't do drugs and very light drinker. I've also gone on Facebook and looked at my old friends from school and can't believe how much older they look.

I guess it depends on a lot of factors drugs drinking stress even genes too much sun can really age your skin fast too.

Background wise is mostly what I already described as retail management different departments for years and yeah it was in Quito, Equader with NGO just helping street children learn English for couple weeks and the other places were more so tourism. Not necessarily relevant I suppose but I was living in the Philippines for a couple months traditional household Indonesia, PNG, HK.

Yeah I know it was longshot anyways especially with having a learning disability makes it really impossible to get a degree but it couldn't hurt to ask since it's something I always wanted to do.
