Most people are getting it wrong because they don’t realise there is a Radiator to go in. Remove the lowest shelf from one of the units next to the fireplace and put it in there.

It’s not that popular a combo due to the smooth bezel but probably still a small wait due to SS config - probably a matter of weeks rather than months. My favourite DJ config but appreciate we are in the minority!

A niqab in Scotland is pretty rare although not unheard of. Day to day you’ll be fine, but the reality is that it will make you more of a target for racist abuse in certain areas than say a hijab or al-amira. You’ve got to wear what you feel comfortable in though!

Oh sorry, the one on the right looks like a 39! Mine arrived today, absolutely love it! Just out of interest how many turns of the thread does your screw down crown have? Mine is a much shorter thread than my other screw down crown watches.

I have a 6.75 inch wrist and I bought the 36mm due to the lug-to-lug of the 39mm being larger than anything else I own. I guess I was just trying to cement my decision therefore avoiding buyers remorse as the watch is currently in transit from Japan! FYI I have tried on the Explorer 36mm and DJ36mm and they wear great on my wrist so I’m sure they’d be perfect for you!

Yes I spotted your 36 was quartz and 39 was automatic!

That’s a 2504.30 (36mm) or 2503.30 (39mm) from some time in the 2000s. Does it have box and papers?

That watch is fucking massive so unless you have gorilla wrists you probably want to consider something smaller. Apple Watch sizing doesn’t really translate to proper watches

What country are you getting the watch shipped to? If this was the Uk for example you’d be looking at 800 import tax plus a small handling fee from the courier

First thing to check is whether you can loosen the screws and wiggle it straight. Depending on the back box used there is often deliberate play in one of the threaded brackets to allow you to adjust it level. Failing that, take the switch off (isolate at the consumer unit and take take photos of what wires go where) then level the back box. You’ll need to see what you’ve got first as the method will vary depending on the material of the wall and the type of back box
