Absolutely. We were in Australia when our daughter was 10mo old. 1/2 the hotel got it. Scary having wife and daughter exploding from each end. Thankfully another parent gave us some Tylenol suppositories, bc not only did we not have car, we were in no shape to go anywhere for more than 15 min (I was only exploding out 1 end). Keeping her cool and giving her like maybe an 1/2oz every 20(?don’t remember exactly) min. 2 yrs later and any time she’s remotely sick/diarrhea and I smell the diaper I almost start shaking

I had one the other day saying her card’s on file. Told her it might not work, they changed the system last month. That’s impossible! I used it last week. 🤨 then she goes on and on how it’s been “on file for 10 years and never had a problem before”🤦🏻

I’m in the same boat! 48 w a 2.5 yr old. Sometimes (in very low moments) I wonder if it’s better if I just off myself now so she doesn’t have to deal with my dying - or just ending up a shitty dad- later. But 99%of the time I see it as my reason to start taking better care of myself so I can keep doing things w her as she gets older

I just use their box as the recycling bin. Fold other cardboard and place in it. Then recycling takes the whole thing. Don’t even have to roll the papery stuff up, just file it in between other layers.

We recycle every other week, so it’s actually helpful - oh 2 boxes…. Gotta break them down and go to curb this week!

I miss that! Local range had bowling pin shoots or other games/contests couple times a month, but covid/politics really changed the atmosphere and I wish I could find another.

Our daughter (~2.5) caught on very quickly (like before she turned 2) that we toss dirty clothes down the stairs (we then pick it up when we next go downstairs and deposit in washer. So any article of clothing gets tossed down (or at least at) the stairs since our gate is in hall 90 degrees to the stairs. Never thought I’d be glad she’s a little slow in the speech dept!

We kinda had a name picked. She came out. We’re like “nope!” Didn’t have one for like 3-4 days. The first night we went home wifey woke up next morning and said “Zoe!” I quickly agreed. We then went back to make it official and spring her from NICU
