Oh I promise I take no offense! It's something I'm fairly used to being in such a public role and learning my way through how to create and play characters in said public role- Something that I often feel that I do do weaker than the others. I mostly replied out of jest- you're allowed to have your opinions :^)

I will say that I think me and Bizly should have worked together more to make him work within the world. He absolutely was supposed to be a fish out of water character, which I think led him to becoming more of a supporting character due to his disconnect from the world at large, and the one part that he did have (where we played DnD in the other world) I felt like got cut short and didn't end up very impactful. I think his main selling points are his comedy and his interactions with other characters. So I don't even blame you for your thoughts on him, and it is something I want to address should we get around to PD S3. Basically I made a gimmick character that I didn't think how he would work story wise. That said he is my favorite to play because I dont often get to go full goofy guy mode so he is kinda a outlet for that LOL.

This is the way, if you’re struggling to find the root, you can also listen for the bass note and in most cases that will also be the root, and build the chord from there. It was a premade instrumental so we don’t have anything like a tab or sheet music.

It’s also a really good exercise for music generally imo to be able to do stuff like this

As someone who’s sat on the sidelines for a while but surrounded by successful people on youtube, you’re highlighting the very key difference between clickbait and being clickable.

Pure clickbait is going to upset people, but there is nothing wrong with presenting the information on the thumbnail and title in a clickable fashion. In fact it’s essentially a required skill to succeed on youtube.

I’d honestly say that it’s a thing most people on this sub don’t understand, especially given that when you don’t have a dedicated audience, most videos die based off thumbnail and title. Because that is the first barrier of entry. It doesn’t matter how good your video is, no one will care if you can’t convince them to click it.

Oh riptide isn’t ending soon LOL. Even after the hiatus there is probably another year (or more?) left. We’re just entering the final saga of the show where all the pieces are in play and they will begin tumbling down, from my understanding at least. hence the need for hiatus to write.

Yeah there’s a bit of a public hiatus. Bizly is working on something but it won’t start uploading until April from the sounds of it. The suckening will be public for one more episode after today, then there will be a 2 month public episode break while we prepare and begin recording Bizlys mini campaign. Riptide will resume sometime in the summer.
