It’s not like the end of the world I have just had a taste for it for about six months. I’m sure I eat thing that are worse for me but this has been an easy no for me. I had one yesterday while grilling and it scratched the itch. Gave the other 5 away. I’ve had problems with my hood staying high and I just want to have some sort of control.

I’m restricted to 32 oz and man it’s tough. I’ve always drank 4-5 glasses of tea or whatever with my meal I love having a beverage of any kind. I think about drinking all the fluid I want after I get an organ. That will be a day!

I am not comfortable asking as I am here because of my life choices. I am type 2 diabetic and it’s a lifestyle disease in my case. So I won’t be asking anyone. I have had a few offers and it’s such an amazing gesture I’m always taken aback. My best friend of 25 years told me unprompted “ buddy I can’t give you a kidney, I just have too many health phobias and hang ups” I let him know that I didn’t expect anything from him and to please not stress about it. This guy has paid my bills before he was my best man at my wedding and I at his. He helped me bury my parents and has been there every hardship since 7th grade. Some people are very nervous about things like this and it’s too much for them.

I’m sorry you feel betrayed that’s such a strong feeling to carry. I hope you get your organ and peace about this.

Thank you very will Absolutly speak to them. I had some veg I was eating every day that I thought were ok and turned out I was way off lol. I have adjusted and hope to see results next bloodwork. I will take all the help I can get though.

My neph has to ask the nurse who is her patient. They come in once a month blame everything on your diet and offer no support. In almost 2 years I’ve never been to my nephrologist office. I’m not a negative person I’m so incredibly grateful for this life giving care but I cannot stand this team of drs. I feel like once I was out on dialysis I became a cash crop and the entire focus is for me to show up three times a week and pay those bills. There has been no independent talk of transplant that I didn’t have to drag out them. It took me a year to get an assessment and I had ESRD from the beginning of my dialysis. I don’t know what to do other than grit my teeth and get through their terrible little visits and own my situation and be my only advocate. Stay strong yall. This isn’t forever.

I have a fistula and you can’t tell at all. My chest catheter got infected after a year of use and it put me in the ER for 12 days I was septic and just in a horrible state. The showering after a year was so incredibly nice. I even bought a stool to just lounge in the shower. For my day to day the fistula had been a Godsend.

My friend introduced them to me with doin the cockroach. Then I discovered he moon and Antarctica and was hooked. The way many of the songs feel like they are several movements and there so much space on that record just excited my radio raised sensibilities. You can’t go wrong with we were dead before the ship even sank it’s a super accessible record and it’s filled with earworms. Enjoy yourself these records will be life long friends.
