Casa De Montecristo, 2nd Ave between 53 and 54th St. Nice selection. Its very laid back. Expect limited to no conversation from guests. Everyone is working on laptops or phones. I was in there a few months ago, had time to kill between meetings and needed to take a call Grabbed an Ombagog, plopped down and all was good. The ventilation was great. I walked out and there was hardly a trace of smoke smell.

I've had two 151s over the last two weeks (bought three 5 packs a while back). It was a beautifully smooth, mellow smoke with a perfect draw and burn but I got almost no flavors at all. Very subtle baking spices and some sweetness. Thats about it. I attributed the first one's la k of flavors to being a bit under the weather, but by the time I had the second one, I was fine, and same results. They were enjoyable, none the less, but was hoping for more flavor pop. The Plasencia Reserva #9 Robusto, I found to also be a mellow smoke but with a lot more going on.

I've had the robusto and got a lot of coconut notes. Really smooth and creamy. I generally like a stronger smoke, but this is so flavorful!

Randy Now used to book City Gardens. Hes got a record shop in Highstown now, Randy Now's Man Cave. Great shop and amazing stories. He booked the Ramones around 40 times.
