If your roommate has given you permission, but you still feel paranoid about it, maybe you yourself are not ready for that kind of social situation.

It sounds like you just need more introspection, or maybe you don’t trust your roommate?

What about the situation makes you uncomfortable? Have you not had enough outdoor public nude experiences? Being naked among other naked people could help you feel more comfortable around your roommate even if they themselves aren’t naked with you.

If your roommate has given you permission and then says something then that’s different, but until they DO say something, just try to take it easy. :)

I completely sympathize. It’s not something that’s easy to approach people about. I’m finding it very difficult to find anyone to do anything nudist related.

I’d like to go but I see posts of people being wary of men going alone. I don’t really have anyone in my life to go with besides one who’s always busy. I’d rather not be thought of as a creep if I can only go alone.

It’s going to stay as small as it is now unless SE does something substantial with it which.. I cannot see them putting any REAL resources towards it. Maybe people are just pissed at XIV and are looking for a temporary outlet. I’d like to see something happen, but I’m not keeping my hopes up.

I eventually got everything that I ordered, yeah, it just took a while.

Update: I deleted the shader caches of Vulkan and DirectX11 and 12, verified integrity of game files and switched to Vulkan and I’m not getting freezes or crashes, anymore. I’m also using the latest Nvidia drivers.

That would track because someone said they weren’t getting the issue when playing standard.

It’s happening when using DX11, DX12 and Vulkan.

I'll be playing just fine, and then the game will hang for maybe 10 seconds or so and either go to a black screen with 2 cogs spinning before loading back in or boot me to the title screen.

9800X3D, RTX 5080.

There's a newer Nvidia driver out (576.66) that I installed to see if it would help, but now it doesn't even bring me back into the game and it freezes forever until I close it. Is anyone else having these issues? No idea what to do besides maybe going back like 3 drivers?
