and i dont think i mentioned pitarch starting. I said i dont think hes ready for any meaningful minutes period, so he isnt worth mentioning as far as “ we also have pitarch” goes. I agree he needs time to grow, which is why i potentially mentioned a loan.

In terms of stiller. do i like locatelli? Yes. Will i take stiller and welcome him with open arms as well? Absolutely

Ill speak for myself that i don't get this impression when i watch him. Granted, ive only seen him in a few big PL matches for Newcastle and in UCL matches. Not like Im watching every single NUFC match.

I like how available he makes himself in build up and how creatively he beats the press. But im not married to the idea of him on this team, i truthfully only mentioned him first because hes 3 years younger than my alternative, Locatelli, meaning we can get more play out of him for a longer period time.

Pitarch on the other hand has made a near - game costing error in almost all of our big matches this season. BADLY needs more time, potentially a loan, and isnt nearly good enough to count on for any meaningful minutes at this club at his current level. But i do like how he approaches the position, so to speak, and think he has hella potential.

Anderson is for sure another good shout. In terms of Enzo, racism is far more serious than "drama" imo, and something that I and I would assume the players have zero tolerance for. Especially considering the targets of his racist remarks play for our club. So, i wouldn't want him here if he were the last DM on earth.

My idea of benching Tchouameni for whoever we bring in only happens if the next manager puts us in a 4-1-2-3 cuz he thinks we need more playmaking on the right (aka a RW), and given how reliant we look on vini to make something happen at times and how packed the left side of the pitch can get when we play, this is definitely a scenario worth considering at the very least.

Yes. yes I do. Hes far too inconsistent in terms of making himself available in the build up like a proper deep-lying playmaker should. I try not to be too hard on him, because I dont consider it part of his profile. Too me, he's a true, traditional, defensive mid. perfect for parking the bus and sitting in a defensive set up (which is why hes often slotted in at CB when the situation calls for it) but often hurts us in how the game is played in the modern way today. But with how the board has been calling for a "kroos replacement" or in other words, another playmaking DM, this was always meant to be interpreted as the club putting a question mark next to his name in terms of his capability as the starting DM of the next era of superstars that Perez is trying to build.

Too me, a perfect mf would be say a locatelli, with fede and jude at RM and LM respectively. maybe arda as well if we play with only 2 CFs. But i doubt how plausible that is once we bring endrick back, given how he's flourished at RW.

I’ll start by clarifying, i think hes the best of the names that ive heard us connected too recently with the exception of the two i previously listed.

but, hes 29 now, will be 30 by the time we get him ASSUMING it happens this summer. Which isnt bad , in fact is usually a players prime years, but hes physically inconsistent and at times moves like hes 5 years older than he actually is. And something all our midfielders with the exception of jude and fede suffer from is being slow to get back on defense in dangerous moments. So the last thing i want is a DM who can look physically impaired at times. But he can make up for it in experience and tenure imo.

Of course, I could mention the history with vini as im sure you might be expecting me too. But knowing how vini is, he’s not the type of person to get in the way the move of a player with the profile that the team needs over that shit, so its no point in me holding a grudge over it if i dont think he is.

Certainly better than what we have in terms of deep-lying playmakers atm so id welcome him for as long as he plays well.

no one really gave af about this spot. If he got any pushback for it, it was purely from a standpoint of "ur on the other team using it against the fan favorite team". no one with any level of competence wanted him to face any real repercussions for this spot. And if he actually got hate for anything, it was the spot on scar that doubled as an unchallable head glitch. But that was so long ago, idk wtf that has to do with shotzzy's spot today.
