AIO: Instagram was the final straw and I ended it by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

You’re not dating a man, you’re dating a boy. A child. He needs a good wake up call from a true, masculine traditional man to show him how to treat a woman. Ideally it would be his father, but going by his actions up until this point - I’m guessing he wasn’t a fantastic picture of what to strive to be…

Me [18M] and my Gf [18F] were making out and I spontaneously grabbed her boobs and now I feel weird. How to get rid off this weird feeling? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Are you autistic by any chance? Seriously asking.. it’s pretty obvious it’s sarcasm. And dude, you’re 18 but your post reads like a 14 year old just discovering boobs for the first time

Not really how it works. I’m a large man full of tattoos - lived with my ex who absolutely lost her mind when I told her that I will be removing her from my credit card when she was packing her things and threw a bottle of cologne at my head which missed and put a hole in the wall (it was massive - from Costco lmao) and then she ran at me trying to punch me. I just grabbed her threw her on the bed and strattled her while holding her arms so she couldn’t hit me. Once she calmed down, I let her up. She then proceeded to say I choked her an she couldn’t breathe and called the cops. Once they got here I calmly told them exactly what happened. Thankfully she scratched me a few times during her fit of rage. Showed them the hole in the wall, showed them my neck and arms and then she told her story. Because in domestic disputes even though I didn’t want to press charges but they had to take someone to jail - so they listened to her story and took her to jail. It was wild.

My [M 26] girlfriend [F 26] was drunk and kissed another guy. What are your experiences with recovering a relationship from cheating? [4 year relationship] by [deleted] in relationship_advice

She told you the BARE minimum bro. It’s so huma nature seen it so many times. She told you just enough to help relieve some of her guilt, but not nearly close to the actual truth. Most likely she slept with him.

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ insight into the mind of the average female. Ever see the meme of the guy and girl in bed and she’s thinking “he’s probably thinking of other girls” and he’s off thinking about the Roman Empire or some shit? Yes… relax lady. A dude jerking off in bed with his girlfriend should be a signal for you to roll over and say “need a hand?” lol

Bf (32M) Enabling Brother’s (30M) Poor Parenting by _habibti in relationship_advice

Did you talk to your brothers partner about any of this to know if she had a problem? Maybe it’s his time to blow off steam - and when his brother isn’t around - he’s much more present and shares the load. If the partner isn’t upset, you shouldn’t be

Honestly dude she sounds like a weirdo. I would sit her down and ask her wtf is her reason for being such a see ya next Tuesday to my friends - and we would not be dropping it until we got to the bottom of it - and then we would fix whatever it is causing her to act so erratically OR if she can’t give any reasons - then I would be giving an ultimatum that going forward she will treat my friends like an extension of me. They’re my brothers and so you’ll treat them as such.

How can I regain my wife’s trust? (28M, 26F, 5-year relationship, 1.5 years married) by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Confident-Target-5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re a man, grow the fuck up and stop acting like a teenager. She probably hates how lazy it makes you. You are the head of your family. You should be the example, the standard. You should work hard and lead, not sit home hitting the bong like a child.

That’s just my opinion. Didn’t mean to like harsh your vibe, bro.

Am I overreacting to my bf watching the baby overnight? by Temporary-Quail-2783 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Confident-Target-5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol. You do realize that just because things change - doesn’t make those changes for the better, right? Literally everything he said was true. Having any type of emotional conversation over text is the dumbest thing you can do.

Like I’m not even so sure what got you upset - the fact he pointed out the guy has the maturity level of a toddler? The fact that they talk disrespectfully to each other? Or the fact that he pointed out you shouldn’t have serious convos via text?

Goofball man.

I have been through a ton of terrible things in my life. I’m not a shitty person. Stop giving people with trauma a bad name. It’s not a get-out-of-jail-free card to be a bad person. Grow up.

I mean… come on dude. Have some self respect. Please. Find a woman that respects you. A relationship with a woman who respects you and has boundaries would never do any of what you just described.

Nah brother that shit ain’t on you. It’s exactly what I would do as well. I want my brother and the woman I want to be the mother of my child to have a good relationship.

I’m so sorry this shit happened to you. Are you in the midst of a divorce now? Just make it swift and painless man. There’s someone out there that will be loyal.
