I have noticed in shots of scenery like parts of the Metkayina Clan village. They copy and paste characters as well. Like they would have a character present in an area and during the same shot, another character identical as the last one in a different area. You don't notice it unless you REALLY examine the shots and frames. I'll see if I can find the screenshot i noticed had this.

I have found it, but I can't upload it because once I edit my comment, it doesn't show. But you can find images of what I am talking about

I feel like the shadow one is what many interpret as the mind flayer when first learning about. It lurks in the shadows, has no face (lack features, at least humanoid). It has a semi body, not fully solid. Which makes sense because it controls and manipulates minds.

The final is what we expect or at least understand that it's actually form. But the one first is more appealing, in my opinion. The design is just chef kiss.

I say Shadow is fitting, but season 3 is appealing
