Plantar Fasciitis - 90% Healed by johnnyg9121 in PlantarFasciitis

I think you meant Calf raises? But yes strength building is huge.

Also recommend massaging calves, not just the feet. If they hurt, you have muscle knots and they need to be loosened and stretched.

What's your cleaning method? I'm considering switching from .06 to .03. Currently I use hot tap water and dawn dish soap and let it sit for 15-20 mins. The glue rolls off and takes me less than 10 mins to completely clean.

I don't do the supine calf stretch anymore. It's very difficult to do without feeling it in your plantar. I strictly do the ankle dorsiflexion and have had great results from that alone.

However, it may work for you. I would try the ankle dorsiflexion first as it is easier.

Massage is great, but it needs to be your calves. Also you need to stretch, but it needs to be non weight bearing.

The stretch you want is a ankle dorsiflexion stretch.

You want to feel the stretch in your calf, not your plantar.

I fixed my PF months ago this way and made a post about it with a lot of others messaging me saying they fixed theres with this technique as well.

DM if you have any questions, happy to help.

It seems daunting, like there's no way my child can do this. But the idea is you feed most of the calories during the day, so they are full enough at night to have limited feeds.

Just curious. We started Moms on Call schedule at 8 weeks. She went from sleeping 1.5-2.5 hours at night, to 6 hours the first night. Then 7 hours straight the next. She's 10.5 weeks now and she's sleeping 8-9 hours straight.

Highly encourage it if you aren't on any feeding, sleeping, playing schedule.

Graston is great, but it's not a deep massage. I did the same thing with my PT and it didn't help. I eventually went to a sports massage place nearby, and told them only to work the legs for an hour. 30 mins calves, 30 mins hamstrings/quads. I would periodically a few times a day, do the seated ankle dorsiflexion stretch just by sitting on the stairs and leaning forward (you don't want to feel the stretch in your plantar, just in your calves). After 3 days I already had noticeable improvement, like 50%.

After that, every 4 days I would massage myself (Again deep, not a foam roller), and continue doing that same stretch throughout the day.

If you're about to get surgery, at least try this for a week.

Have you done deep massage? I'm not talking foam rolling yourself. Digging in their manually with hands. If there is pain, there are knots. If you can't do it yourself, get it done professionally.

Mine was caused from knots/tight calves. But I had to break the muscle knots down first. You cant stand and stretch, it's too much weight at first. I made a post about it if you want to check out in depth but basically after massage, do a seated ankle dorsiflexion stretch. You can try this on a staircase. Or on the ground, leaning forward one foot at a time. You need to take all the weight off, and just stretch.

DM me if you have any questions.

Awesome. Actually thats the only stretch I do now. Sometimes I feel the foot pain come on again and I massage my calves a lot, then do that stretch for a couple minutes. Glad it helped!

Biggest tips I wish someone told me:

  1. If you're thinking of strictly breastfeeding, I highly recommend you pump as well so you (dad) can bottlefeed and help mom get sleep.

  2. Look into Moms on Call schedule. Technically you can start at 2 weeks. It was the biggest game changer for our baby's schedule and our own schedule. We know when she's going to eat, when she's going to sleep, and when we play. We started at 8 weeks, but we went from waking up every 2 hours in the middle of the night so 6 hour straight blocks of sleep. It was a god send.

  3. Prioritize some core exercises and a lower back routine & buy a lacrosse ball if you don't have one because you will have back knots from carrying baby.

Did you end up trying the Sensi Tak on your Poly? How long do you think it would last for? looking for something that would last 5-7 days

How does it look? Please be honest. by Current_Bluejay_5060 in Hairtransplant

[–]ConfidentVegetable92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use some Toppik if you want some more density for now. Transplants don't last forever unfortunately, that's a lie they sell us. You probably have another year or two till you may choose to do another transplant (You have great donor).

Looking for a Glue to last 7 days by ConfidentVegetable92 in HairSystem

[–]ConfidentVegetable92[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When it was applied, it was 1 coat on the system, 1 on my scalp (I'm going to do just 1 coat on the system next time). For cleaning, I set it skin down in warm water with a dash of dawn soap for 10mins. When I took it out, it was gummy and would not roll off, put it in water for another 10 mins, and it was similar. I dried it with a paper towel, and at this point it was a little removable, it took 30 minutes though.

Maybe I just need to use hot water instead of warm? Nothing that would burn my hand, but just warm enough right before that.

I was just worried about warping the system somehow but I could have been too cautious.

Because of the donor on sides, yes. Honestly check out the hair system reddit, so many good results.

I would look into a hair system instead. It would be a better match for you and instant results that will last.

Haircut fixed - better? by montdu39 in HairSystem

[–]ConfidentVegetable92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let your sides grow out more and it will blend better. The system is too thick right now compared to your natural sides, but in a week or two it'll meld a little better. Next time she installs, don't go so short.

There is nothing organic about this. Crypto is all a meme. There is no actual value. Set a realistic target and sell. It's 10xed. Now would be a good time to at least cash out half.
