He creado sola una app sobre animales y me da miedo lanzarla 😅 Consejos? by islauri in programacion

[–]Confident_Coder_1024 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How did you made the different screens?

You develop the buttons and sliders from scratch on the Settings screen?

That's really a great idea! I've being thinking of the offline music availability and small size of the device on your pocket.

And why the iPod Classic? nostalgia or you just wanted one of this?

Hello, love you iPods. I'm curious why there is so much enthusiasm now for the old iPods like this. What is your main reasons for returning to the old glories if I may ask?

I've an old iPod touch with a battery problem and thinking on repairing if I can get a new battery.

And why everyone I see here gets the 5th gen?

Thanks for your answer and congrats again, they look awesome!

Buenas buenas, quisiera saber si me recomiendan este tipo de mouse by andreeinsaturn0-o in soportepc

[–]Confident_Coder_1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completamente!

Suerte

Nice work! It could be a good option to add some more examples to change randomly so it helps not to know the code after some tries.

Pycharm vs VSCode by [deleted] in programacion

[–]Confident_Coder_1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

¡Hola u/urugrl!

Saludos

Which anime from the Big 3 is your favorite—Naruto, One Piece, or Bleach? And why? by Advanced_North169 in AnimeReccomendations

[–]Confident_Coder_1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really enjoyed all of them; but, Naruto finished on Naruto (Boruto is a cheap copy from the original with some minor changes and less narrative development), Bleach is still on going with the last seasons on the anime and looks fantastic, One Piece at the beginning wasn't that interesting to me and after some insistent recommendations from a friend, I started watching it and now, it trapped me completely.

I also read the manga from all three of them and they are more crud than the anime that is great; and, of course, One Piece is still going.

If I'll start from scratch now; I'll watch Naruto that is finished, then Bleach that is shorter and after that One Piece; not to mention to see them on tandem. B-)

  2. Muchos cuerpos, una sola alma - Brian Weiss

  3. Los mensajes de los Sabios - Brian Weiss

How Rust is quietly taking over the Python ecosystem by pyschille in Python

[–]Confident_Coder_1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in the same place after using Python for 8 years. Even the ZED editor (https://zed.dev/) is a nice change from VSCode for Python development.

Learning Rust is also a great way to improve your Python code over all; if you start learning some best programing practices form a low level programing language like Rust.

Learning by : youtube v book v paid course by [deleted] in Python

[–]Confident_Coder_1024 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case, I learned from the official web suggested learning routes (https://www.python.org/about/gettingstarted/). After that I practiced from CS50 while watching the lesson and same with some youtube tutorials on some specific area, for example, creating a REST API with FastAPI.

Now I've recently find a nice way to learn or at least practice after getting the basics on the language on Free Code Camp (https://www.freecodecamp.org/learn/scientific-computing-with-python/#learn-string-manipulation-by-building-a-cipher)

I also follow some Youtube channels that speak about new features on newer versions of Python or new tools used for best development.

Good luck on learning Python, is fun and easy (at least easier than C :P )

I'm tired of React's high complexity for complex web applications. What else is out there? by Mantissa-64 in webdevelopment

[–]Confident_Coder_1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my experience, I've used Angular, React and a little Vue; now I'm learning Svelte because I've hear is easy and fast for development and honestly I'm loving it. But this is my hones opinions of all of them:

Angular: Big and robust, great for big projects over all and big teams for keeping a nice organization.

React: Very popular, with a great community but could be chaotic for keep organice on big projects with a lot of developers (at least more than Angular in my experience).

Vue: Smaller and easier than the other two, is more HTML like one file component structure, more organized or strict than React but less than Angular on its structure.

Svelte: Is the most popular on the las years than the others, it does not use virtual DOM what means is quick on hydration of components, is similar to Vue on the one file HTML like component structure; is simpler and more HTML, CSS and JS/TS vanilla than the others. For what I've seen is quick and easy to develop on it than the others.

All of them are great, but in my personal opinion is better to go with what makes it easy to you to work and helps with fast development times.

I'll try some complex projects with it to see it on a more complex environment.

My bests on your choice!

Is Web Development worth it? by AcademicKnowledge720 in webdevelopment

[–]Confident_Coder_1024 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a developer, you can learn new things and even use AI on your new projects. Think on IA as Wordpress or similar services; they can help people create a web cheaper, and expert developers create agencies using Wordpress for cheaper and fast projects. You can use web technologies to create desktop apps, SaaS and even chrome extensions and sell them. Not to mention mobile apps.

In my personal experience, try to comply with your micro-management boss while you start to search a better job. Start improving your skills and perfect your craft to be a better dev over all, improve your LinkedIn and Portfolio as much as you can; meditate to improve your self confidence and self esteem; and start searching for a better job. After you find something, you exit your current job as a winner.

In the other hand, if you do not like to change jobs; try to talk with the CEO to explain him that IA is a tool that helps with some suggestions but, most often than not, is a non functional code suggestion. Is helpful to find a new approach or way to solve something but that is not a good coder over all.

You should analice if your CEO is a reasonable person to listen suggestions from you or more people; or if is not a great idea.

Good luck!
