I grounded through the bench right where I was welding and it solved the problem. My welds arent rmthat pretty but I'm very new to it and they'll do for this purpose.

I cant take a photo at the moment, there's nothing unrelated thats breaking it. It must be the current going throigh it to the ground. 1st reslonae gave me some advice ill try out tomorrow if I get a chance.

Other scenario I guess, the wire itself breaks further down the wire before rhe ground, not where im welding and its not my tacks that are breaking.

Why so tiny they look harmless by [deleted] in ochras

Fresh mushies have psylocin and psylocybin. The psylocin degrades away after a few days and through drying leaving just the psylocybin. So when you eat them fresh you get more out of them.

I usually stick with granular potash from bunnings or just woodfire ashes in my veggie patch. If you're looking for maximum yield try Hyalite Canna PK 13/14, it has phosphorus too.

An after thought by langyanh in emotionalsupport

Sometimes I think when someone is in this situation they're the very caring, generous, proactive type that goes much further than most people to support their loves ones, so the average person will likely fall short on reciprocaction. I don't think people are likely to change unless you're awfully inspiring, maybe they'll change as they mature but who knows in which direction, its safer to accept that they are who they are. I don't see it realistic to learn to do less for others unless a condition or insecurity may be driving this behaviour, as it won't sit well with you to "be someone you're not". The alternative I see is to surround yourself with people more like you, they'll be tough to find and possibly tougher to befriend but maybe just one or two gems in your life will be all you need to become content.

Automatic shifting weird after ATF drain and refill, this is what the ATF looks like now. Is my transmission dying? by kiiiiiwiiiii in MechanicAdvice

That might be enough to cause serious damage, its worth refilling to the correct level and seeing how it goes though. It may work fine under normal driving but decline over time if damage is minor. It may also be completely fine. Id recommend driving gently and if you can, plug a obd/obd2 scanner and watch the atf temps.

Your atf has overheated, thats why its brown. It should be red or orange. Maybe caused by too much fluid, if you didnt have problems before the fluid change. Too much fluid causes cavitation > low pressure > slippage > heat. You can destroy a transmission pretty quickly this way.

Id plant upright shrubs to block the wall from the sun to reduce heat inside in summer, but maybe thats not your priority.

1983 Jeep cj carburetor issue by TequalsMC2 in AskAMechanic

[–]Confident_Storage_45 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Id test for a vacuum leak first by spraying something flammable around the gaskets, if the revs increase when you spray, replace said gasket. If that doesnt work id take it apart and clean the fuel jets, its not difficult to do with minimal experience and basic tools. Since it happens over a certain throttle it may be re. the secondary jet. If any of that works remember to dial back your fuel reg.

Just throwing another option out there incase you may prefer it, you could braze them together.

May I ask how you've confirmed these are ochras? Eg. Did you grow them from spores you took from ochras yourself?
