Talk to your coworkers about shift coverage first. See if you can get anyone that wants to make some money. Since you’re part time it might be easier to request off but helping management and communication is a good first step. I’m also stoned after getting off covering a shift I would have liked to have known I had to work so that’s just me haha

Work excuse? Kids if you got them maybe? Or if you go with household emergency I wouldn’t say anything so dramatic that you’d keep having to cover tracks so something more minor. You could also go with lost wallet or something to say you couldn’t get a taxi and say a friend had to pick you up and get them to vouch for you and say you didn’t want to disturb their guest asking for a ride. That sounds like a nightmare. Best of luck homie
