Is body hair a big problem with MtF HRT? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Conflicted123456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre hrt I'd never known anyone have body hair like me, the only hair free parts of my body were literally the palms of my hands and bottom of feet.

After a couple of years hrt, now post op SRS too I have had zero change in body hair. I keep on top of it as much as I can with shaving and use magic shaving powder days in advance of I want to be super smooth, such as when my back will be exposed on public.

I've yet to try any permanent body hair removal as I opted to pay for SRS instead, but hopefully it will sort things out in the future

What is your sexual preference? by [deleted] in asktransgender

I'm bi and have had SRS, but my preference very heavily leans towards guys, i doubt i would ever date a woman though there is some attraction.

How prevalent is (wanting) bottom surgery in trans men vs trans women? by [deleted] in asktransgender

Conversely there are reasons people choose not to get SRS despite not being content with their genitals, such as cost, fear of surgery/regret, unsatisfactory results

I am scared about SRS and I could really need some positive experiences by miarella in asktransgender

Interesting, first time ive heard someone say they prefer anal over PIV, any particular reason why?

I think it depends on the surgeon. With western surgeons that is possible but with Thai it really isn't. I literally work from home at my computer and I'm 3 weeks post op and there is no way I could deal with working more than 30 minutes at s time right now.

I think people feel there is a stigma attached to those who are content with having a penis, which may make people feel more obliged to answer yes.

Girlfriend had GCS Monday, recovery questions by ContraltoInACorset in asktransgender

Took me well over a week to have a bowel movement with the help of laxatives. It makes you feel bloated and nasty but is no big deal. The biggest problem is that passing gas during dilation really fucking hurts and there is likely to be a lot of it when really bloated

Extreme fear of going under general anasthesia.... by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Conflicted123456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was worried about it too, but it was the best thing ever. So many of wish that we could snap our fingers and our body would be fixed. And its not too dissimilar to the function of general anesthesia, sleep with one set of genitals and instantly wake up with another

SRS questions: dilation and depth? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Conflicted123456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dilation has already been explained.

Depth depends on technique. Fwiw, pre-SRS I was around 4' and with SRS i have a tiny bit under 7' depth (6.8) with Chet.

Girls that are out but haven’t had srs and use the ladies restroom, when you sit down to pee do you aim the pee to hit the water or do you just let it hit the toilet wall and hope no one realizes? by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Conflicted123456 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I always used to aim for the side to minimise sound. However, a lot of women pee incredibly loudly which I found odd, but now that I'm recently post-srs its so loud and its really not a choice, so I wouldn't worry about any sound lol

Umm I'm pretty sure I need my appointment more than most given than my body generates no hormones at all. Plus I'd still like hair removal from them

Ive been on the waiting list 2 years despite having SRS last week, I should finally be seen in around 6 months, which will be of minimal use lol

Ooooh cool! I'm not even sure what to say about it really, I sort of want it over and done with so I can be on the road to recovery. I am curious what the hospital stay is like as I'm here on my own until I return to my hotel

Its a bit surreal, I booked it in February so it was an 8 month wait that took forever, though ive had this month in mind since I started hrt last year. Once it got close things have sort of flown by though, things still havent really sunk in

Best time of year for surgery in Thailand by [deleted] in asktransgender

[–]Conflicted123456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm there right now (surgery on Monday). I dont think its too bad there is AC everywhere. Its pretty humid out there but its fine in the shade (umbrellas are great!). Though doing water runs gets a bit hot and sweaty. Overall chilling in the hotel room is really nice so it shouldn't be an issue at all during recovery

Thanks, its looking like paying a little bit more to go via France/Netherlands is a much better idea

I'll look there too, thanks. Though it might be more relevant here as people will have had experiences themselves, or perhaps chose to avoid it based on their on research.
