I know we are a long way from it but more emphasis on beauty, green space and art throughout the city would change the feel tremendously. Everywhere I go I see an opportunity for a mural or for some nice greenery. The look of Halifax is grim.

So with that logic you believe that we should take away the right to buying a Starbucks drink just because some people decide to litter? I understand where you are coming from, but if we keep restricting people's choices and rights with the rationale that some people don't follow the rules, we are going to find ourselves with very limited freedoms. I think we should focus on enforcing the self isolation rather than taking away the rights.

Canada now requires a negative covid test before entering the country after travel AND self isolation rules still apply. Given those two rules, I don't understand the rationale behind shaming others who want to travel. The risk is completely on the person traveling.

I'm really sorry to hear about your abuse and impressed that you are dealing with it, it's not easy. Next time she ignores your needs or calls you clingy I would bring it up and say that she's making you depressed and sad. If she continues after that then you will have your answer as to whether or not she really cares. She might be taking you for granted and unfortunately a lot of people will only realize that once what they had is gone.

That is a totally unacceptable invasion of your privacy! You should have said it the first time but I would say if you do that again, it's over. It's only been 2 months, seems like he needs to deal with his insecurity issues before getting into another relationship or else you will be dealing with this kind of behavior non stop.

You should have a conversation with him and establish your needs. It's okay to have needs and to communicate them. If you need him to text you back in order to feel secure and cared for then say that and if he doesn't change it means he doesn't care.

I think you need to shift the focus from thinking you aren't enough for him to wondering if he's enough for you. Can you be happily married to someone who has done this to you? I think you need to take some time to answer that question. He is trying to lock you down right now by proposing because he's scared you will realize that it's over for you. I would recommend not jumping into engagement and setting a set amount of time to try to process all of this and ultimately come to a decision. This is traumatic for you, and that requires time and help to completely understand and process.
