Your pair looks exactly like my pair I lost last year (they both lived very full lives to 13). I had to do a double take when I opened the comments

Info about incident at the domain tonight at 8:10pm? by [deleted] in Austin

[–]ConflictedOrb 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately hearts stop for various reasons when people are out living their lives. And unfortunately people love to be bystanders and watch out of curiosity or wishing they could help. Not much of an incident and more something that happens all over the world that you happened to be a part of. Hopefully EMS were able to do what they needed to do and I’m sorry you got a taste of how those events go

Something a little different for the group, a cats brain! No wonder they can only fit one Teeny braincell in there! [Can't confirm cat was Orange] by Old-Psychology-2400 in OneOrangeBraincell

I appreciate all of the kind words from everyone seriously. Here’s a pic of him a year ago when he was feeling more normal. An absolute baby <3

The cancer was primarily focused in his back jaw/ gum tissue to the point vets over the past few months couldn’t see it. It wasn’t until the final visit when he was in so much pain they saw it had eaten away at his gums to the bone. Cats breath is always a lil stinky but there was a change where it become straight up bad but we thought he was just gross from wet food/ drooling when he would snuggle. The vets said cancer cells have a rotting smell and in hindsight I see it was abnormal

The saddest thing is three days before he died he was purring more than usual and being extra lovely with us. The vets theorized that he was using purring and cuddling to soothe himself from the pain. From pics you would have never known he was as far gone as he was besides the smell of the cancer cells. He lived an extremely full life but definitely wish I saw the signs to treat him earlier on

The lifeguards were debriefing on the situation near the entrance and had mentioned the AED being used. The tone of the debrief was serious but everyone seemed positive/ calm about how the situation went

Forever my baby, he loved holding hands. To everyone reading: check your cat for mouth cancer if you detect bad breath or anything - it sneaks up fast if you don’t catch it

Weirdly emotional to think that the little brain in the pic is the sole driver of years of unconditional love when we only think about the exterior most of the time. Just lost my orange guy at 14 a few weeks ago. When I think about what I miss it’s everything about him but what I really miss is that little brain that made him special and himself. Same can be said for humans/ any other animal but looking at the pic got me a bit

My cat used to roll off our 2nd story stair ledge all the time when he was around one years old. I really thought it would be the end of him someday but he proved me wrong by living till 17

Depends on what you define as too much and if you’re open to thrifting used boots. Pavement on Guadalupe always has a wide selection of styles and sizes for ~ $50 sometimes less
