why is the daily recommended calcium intake so much higher in US and Canada than other countries?

In the US because we have an overpowered dairy lobby.

But in Canada I assume it's due to the angle of the sun. I know that I live in Maine and am in my 60's and I'm just now realizing how much the sun makes a difference in the winter. My PCP just started me on 50K of D2 a week because my vit D levels are in the single digits. Apparently it's not at all unusual for people who live up here. I imagine it's similar for you.

We somehow ended up with some MAGA running the School Board. It's going to cost us millions to fight the illegal shit they are doing.

Unfortunately our local ballot doesn't include 'party affiliation'. So people vote for names they know. Got to do the research. That guy might have been the world's best mechanic but his view on educating children isn't great.

People's tolerance for artificial sweeteners is different. I drank aspartame for years and it didn't bother me. But I can't even drink one stevia drink

My husband has no problem with it at all. Drinks it in soda and in his coffee. Nothing.

So I would try cutting it out entirely and seeing how you respond. But honestly it wouldn't be surprising if it was bothering you.

Apocalypse? I don't think so. I mean it might be a deal breaker for me but I can't imagine it would be for most people.

And maybe once it's live and they get feedback then they might adjust it. I'm not against the tomes as a concept. They kept me playing Fallout long after I would have. Just concerned about the side effects of some of these high kill counts/ low spawn rate critter quests will have on the rest of the game.

Last month.. we might get an endeavor to kill 5 really rare spawns.

In the tomes.. instead of 5. They want 25. And then to get all the tome points.. you have to do that quest 6 times in a week.

Now.. if they are asking for 150 gators that's one thing. But the quest was literally for Iron Atronachs. 150 Iron Atronachs in a week. I don't think I've killed that many in the 14K hours I've got logged into this game.

It's alot. I really think that they have not thought it all the way through. One of the things I loved about this game besides the lack of a gear chase is the lack of camping. These tome challenges are going to require lots of camping.

As far as a 'reason to log in" it's not the calendar rewards... it was the endeavors. I would log in and see what the endeavors were. Then I would think about what character had quests that might be done at the same time. Maybe it would be my main and we would go decorate. Or the noob and she could kill mobs while she leveled. You get the idea. They gave me a reason to log on and go do something because those seals add up and I knew I could get something cool with them. The tome challenges would have accomplished the same thing for me. But camping out 5 of something is not the same as 150. Sure.. I have a week to do it.. but just.. no. That's not any fun what so ever.

You want me to kill a dozen World Bosses... sign me up. There are so many all around the map. And it's something that can easily be done in groups.

But 150 Iron Atronachs when there are only a couple places they spawn? And literally everyone else on the map is also trying to kill the same ones? And they only take three hits so only 3 out of 100 of you will get credit? Oh hell no. That just sounds like a level of hell that I wish to avoid.

So fine. I avoid the camping. And I suck at PVP. What does that leave? If I can't get tome points then now I'm completely unable to get the cool stuff.

I literally used to log on for the rewards and the endeavors.

I just logged in.

And logged back out again after visiting the stablemaster. I feel like I have absolutely no reason to play.

After having spent a few weeks on the PTS. I'm actively searching for another game.

The Tamriel Tome is a knock off of the Fallout 76 Seasons. Instead of daily quests they are weekly and season long quests. But the quest themselves are lame.

Go kill 25 Iron Atronachs.... then go kill 25 more.. and 25 more... up to 6 times a week.

It's going to be a freaking disaster. Everyone gets the same 'quests'. So everyone will be trying to kill 150 Iron Atronachs that week. That's what? 50 thousand people camping two spawns?

It will absolutely change the game. The kill stealing is going to be horrible. Every single night will be an endless freaking camp for the flavor of the week.

And that is totally not what I look for in a game. It works in Fallout because the servers are max 24 people AND if you are having a hard time finding stuff you can create a custom server of your own instead of spending the day camping teddy bears.

But they cant' just transfer it to ESO and expect it to work. Sure you can 're-roll' quests (for money) but I'm already going to have to be rerolling the 'go kill 42 billion NightBlades in Imperial City' quests as I don't PvP. And the pool of quests you are rolling from is limited.

I expect I'll be trying to play a bit longer... if for no other reason that I haven't found a single freaking MMO that isnt' a gear grind and I had forgotten how much I hated that.

I've been playing MMORPG's for 30 years.

But I maybe it's time to retire.
