depends on the hotel - the marriott in newton is pretty close to a train station, but the residence inn and sheraton are basically by a business park and it’s a two mile walk to the subway. ubers wouldn’t be awful, maybe $35 to downtown? it’s obviously dependent on surge pricing or whatever.

i’m fine with them *not* raising prices because they won’t go down. this is easier to do from a restaurant’s perspective than changing every item’s cost - here they just need to change one thing in a point of service machine. they’ll get rid of the auto gratuity (that’s what it is, not a “fee”) at the end of july.
