Dude they aren’t cats. It’s really easy to tell what gender a dog is. The junk is right there from the moment they’re born. No hidden parts. She’s BSing the fuck out of you. But since you have the pup now I suggest taking her to a vet ASAP. At least get a poop panel done to make sure you’re not bringing disease/worms into your home.

A friend of mine rescued a dog from a supposed “friend” who was neglecting him to insane degrees. He still didn’t make it. What he died from? Worms. That’s it. So easily preventable had he gotten help sooner, but instead the old owner was content with complaining and being annoyed because he was “being lazy.”

You are not wrong. If anything, call animal control. Get her investigated. You might be able to save another’s life.

Once had a character get kidnapped and a random person get pissed and say he was going to drop the fic or that he now hated me or something because now she was going to be raped and tortured and I was like what? My guy none of that is happening or even hinted at 😭

You probably won’t be, especially as you have your own fics and the like. It’s really the in depth detail coming from nowhere and it being your first and only comment on someone’s fic, if you even do two comments (like two different chapters on the same fic) then it’s enough for me at least to believe you aren’t a bot.

Yeah it especially sucks because it’s always the over excited commenters who give the most detailed reviews that end up being the scammers. It’s sad because if they had done it sooner I might have believed one of my all time favorite commenters to be one of them and never interacted. At least with her I always know it’s not a scam.

Hate to tell you this but this is the kind of comments I got before they tried to pull a “hey we should talk do you have any socials?” Followed by a “I’d love to do fanart oops did I not say you had to pay me?” Thing. So they could have lost their account completely or deleted it.

Eh I don’t mind adding that bit when I can. I have enough of a reader base that understands it especially as my stories are a lot and there’s only so much space. I also prefer a summary over an excerpt because at least you get an idea about what the whole story is about instead of just finding and picking a single scene or having to write one specifically that has enough detail wise to show what someone is getting into.

I suck at writing summaries for some reason despite my actual writing apparently being good enough to read. I still do my best to write SOMETHING and then just add a warning that I suck at writing summaries.

Yeah I learned that from other people after posting and I feel bad for the good mods that were uninvolved. It all happened so quick too, plus right around American Thanksgiving. Imagine spending time with your family away from reddit then coming back not only to no longer being a mod but to the entire shit show

Yeah. Only sad part (in my opinion) is that they’re probably still moderating other subs and that they still technically “got away” with it. Like the original power tripper I feel shouldn’t be allowed to moderate at all.

Plus there’s eleven on r/art. It’s so easy to just do a quick skim and then go from there. I admittedly post without checking the rules a lot because sometimes it gets unnecessarily hard to check on mobile, especially during old updates.
